The Easter Sunday date varies because it is determined using a calculated lunar calendar. It is the first Sunday approximately after the first full moon on or after the March equinox. Many Christians celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection on Easter Sunday. It is also a time for decorating eggs or sharing chocolate eggs among friends and family. Passover 2011 begins at sundown on Monday, April 18. Passover lasts for seven days in Israel and eight days in the rest of the world ( Jewish tradition encourages the faithful to begin elucidating Passover-related laws 30 days before the start of the festival. For one thing, the religious dos and don'ts are very detailed. Moreover, the conceptual significance of this holiday is central to the understanding of Judaism. Passover (Pesach in Hebrew) commemorates the formative experience of the Jewish people: their transformation from scattered tribes indentured in Egypt to a nation on the road to redemption. The Bible relates in the Book of Exodus that after hundreds of years of slavery, God smote the hardhearted dictator Pharaoh with Ten Plagues until he finally acceded to the demand relayed by Moses: Let My people go that they may serve Me! 2 Page 2 Election Time 2011/2012 Board of Directors Candidates: Trilogy at Glen Ivy has received three responses for the three available seats on the 2011/2012 Board of Directors. Kay Rookhuyzen Wishes to stay on Board Ed Carlson New Candidate Marilyn Mohr New Candidate. Meet the Candidates Night has been cancelled. Many people believe this is wrong. Let s hear why they want to run and what knowledge and experience they could bring to the Board of Directors Microsoft has a number of free programs that you can use to view Microsoft Office documents even if you do not have the program installed on your PC. You cannot, however, make any changes to the documents you are viewing. These free programs will let you view, copy and print Office documents - Word (DOC), Excel (XLS) and Powerpoint (PPT). There's a long list of the viewers at the Microsoft Office site. Viewers for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents are available. The Office viewers let you select and copy parts of a worksheet or document, just like any other Windows program. That means you can select some or all of a worksheet and paste it into another spreadsheet program (like OpenOffice for example). Any of the rival Office suites can open Microsoft Office documents directly however more complex documents don't always get converted correctly. If you're having to import programs with a 'foreign' Office suite, try opening the document in the Microsoft Office viewer and copying the data across. That might have a better chance of retaining document fidelity. You can also print the document from the viewer but not just to paper. For example most Adobe Acrobat converters work by having a Windows 'print' driver to do the job but instead of going to a printer the document is saved to a PDF file.

Let your friends and neighbors know about this wonderful happening. Thank You Pastor Jim Grams Sunrise

5 Page 5 Newsletter Title In the month of March 2004, I was looking to obtain a new residence and spent the majority of two days Bob s Corner with a Shea Homes sales representative. I spent a great amount of time before making a decision due to the fact that I never lived in a community that was under an Association and only lived a residence within city limits. I looked at building plot locations, planned development models, cruised the entire community and tried to comprehend all the documents presented to me. I had many questions to be answered. Some of the important ones were as follows: Why is the assessment so low as $165? the developer is subsidizing it until final development and at that time it s expected to be $205. There are many gates, are there going to be guards there? No The Golf course in integrated within the community; will it belong to the community when the developer leaves? No The Golf course does not have a high fence for security, is a high fence going to be erected? No What are the protection services? You have the County Sheriff Department for Security. The County Fire Department and the State Fire Department. These are paid through your taxes. Who paid for the streets and lighting? The developer put them in and all the residence owners are paying for it in a special tax called CFD-89 paid yearly for 25 years. Lighting usage and street maintenance costs are the responsibility of the Association. So I basically knew where all my money was going. Now when the Board decided that they were going to hire a Security Patrol. I said wait a minute, I m already paying for the Deputy Sheriffs. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN! The association name is Trilogy at Glen Ivy Maintenance Association not Trilogy at Glen Ivy Security and Maintenance Association. I then pondered if it is within their authority to impose this added costs to all members of this development? The answer lies within the CC&R s on page 89 sections and it reads like this exactly: Security and Privacy Disclaimer Second sentence- Declarant and the Master Association do not undertake to provide security for the properties nor do they make any representations or warranties whatsoever concerning the effect the gates may have on vehicular and pedestrian access through the Properties or the privacy and safety of the properties. Conclusion, I do not think they have the Authority!

6 Page 6 I m back with more good news about our Library Lake Center Library Update It looks like the Lake Center will be opening up for resident enjoyment within a few weeks. The Library is still open and waiting for some steady customers after the inconvenience of walking around the back of the building for entry. Hopefully when you visit, you will notice the changes that have been made. Many of the popular authors are grouped together on top of the shelves. Several of the groupings have been moved from where they were, so take a few extra minutes to see exactly how the library has been reorganized. There is a section called Popular Non-fiction and a new section titled New Arrivals. We have a new puzzle started. It s 1,000 piece beauty! Stop by and help put it together. We were terribly disappointed that the last puzzle had 12 pieces missing. Please don t donate a puzzle that might have some pieces missing. Those should go in your recycling bin. Speaking of recycling, some recent donations were so old and musty and dusty, that that s where they went. Please check your donations prior to leaving them. We are interested in paperback books that are 2005 or newer, and hard bounds that will be of interest to a majority of our reading public. The computer in the back of the room is ready for your enjoyment. Hope to see more of you up there when the Lake Center is open and you can enter from the front entry! That s all from Marion, Madam Librarian, aka Claire Johnson
