18 Western Australia- StudyPerth Improving Student Experience Annual Perth International Student Festival (over 40 sponsors and attended by thousands of international students each year). Partnership with SightSeeingPass (booking engine) offering students 10% discount on all experiences. Muslim Guide (new and updated on New student accommodation in CBD. (Perth Education City Accommodation Project introducing more than 1000 new beds for students in the CBD in specially student designed rooms) Perth s affordability for homestay and airport reception. Costs are continuing to decline making Perth the equal cheapest city in Australia. Initiatives launching later this year: Airport Welcome Desk StudyPerth Student App Global Food Festival Working with Agents StudyPerth website is in 19 languages and contains course, scholarship and career information about WA. StudyPerth and it s member institutions have invested heavily in agent workshops & training in past 3 years across multiple markets including Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe. Collateral and videos promoting Perth is also provided to local and international agents on request. Many local agents are also invited to our major industry networking function each year. Working with WAPETIA, we hold an annual briefing with agents in Perth. The StudyPerth YouTube channel has 59 videos in 9 languages, promoting international student stories.

22 International education sector strategy Focus and goals The International Education Sector Strategy, released this year, sets out a vision for the future of international education in Victoria. The strategy was based on the input of close to 200 participants and 40 written submissions. The vision is for Victoria to become entrenched as Australia s Education State, recognised globally for its superior student experience and international education services.
