18 SOME RECENT HIGHLIGHTS Continuous study area/corridor from Melbourne to Brisbane All 13 Inland Rail projects have completed the Concept Assessment stage 741 land access agreements in place, 97% success rate Progressing the Public Private Partnership (PPP), Industry briefings ongoing until October 2018 $250m worth of contracts already awarded 14,000 tonnes of steel rail being delivered for Parkes to Narromine project 200,000 concrete sleepers under fabrication are being mobilised 1,200 attended Industry Briefings (May 2018)

22 REGIONAL BENEFITS IN NSW NSW Economic Impact ($m) Inland Rail presents a major economic opportunity for regional NSW 40% of the total project cost will be invested in NSW that s over $4 billion of the cost of Inland Rail 384 NSW Producers will benefit from Inland Rail, opening up 908 Northern NSW new options to both domestic and export markets Central West NSW Around 5000 jobs will be created in NSW during the peak of construction period of Inland Rail. Additional employment at the peak of construction is estimated as: 427 North West Greater Sydney Northern NSW 2,500 jobs 480 North West NSW 1,900 jobs Central West NSW 300 jobs Murrumbidgee / Murray 300 jobs Total economic impact of Inland Rail on NSW: $2.6 billion
