30 Snow Vic 2016 Campaign The 2016 Snow Victoria Cooperative Marketing campaign will see a material move to a more appropriate role in the customer buying cycle; from its old position which was in the tactical conversion part of the cycle and often conflicted and/or duplicated individual Resort conversion efforts, to an position earlier in the buying cycle to inform and inspire potential new customers to consider a Victorian Snow experience as part of their overall holiday choices. The Creative campaign will centre around the theme of Nothing Feels Like Snow and will have as its cornerstone a thirty second television commercial that will speak to the identified key market segments (Escape Artists, Variety Hunters, Funatics) of the uniqueness of a snow experience. This aims to reach new markets of potential snow holidaymakers by expressing the feeling you get from experiencing the snow for the first time. The Snow Victoria campaign is Melbourne-focussed, which places Mt Buller in a prime position to capitalise on proximity as its ultimate selling proposition through timing and messaging. A preview of the campaign and TVC will be previewed to Key stakeholders in late May.
31 Snow Vic 2016 Campaign Escape Artists The experience of a road trip to the snow. Funatics Young people enjoying the snow, starting a snowmance. Variety Hunters Mother and daughter sharing time together
32 Mt Buller 2016 Winter Campaign Never miss a moment will be used across Mt Buller s winter advertising and marketing activities for 2016, replacing This is My Buller which has been used for three years. The tagline is designed to highlight Mt Buller s proximity and accessibility i.e. Mt Buller is so close you ll never miss out on making new memories, spending time with the family etc. This also leverages the Snow Victoria campaign concept of Nothing feels like snow, which aims to reach new intrastate markets of snow holidaymakers by expressing the feeling you get from experiencing the snow for the first time. Mt Buller is well-placed to benefit from this by highlighting proximity.
