1 11/11/2018 International Civil Aviation Organization MIDANPIRG STEERING GROUP Sixth Meeting (MSG/6) (Cairo, Egypt, 3-5 December 2018) Agenda Item 7: MIDANPIRG Working Arrangements REVIEW AND UPDATE OF MIDANPIRG MEMBERS/ALTERNATES/ADVISERS AND SUBSIDIARY BODIES FOCAL POINTS (Presented by the Secretariat) SUMMARY The aim of this working paper is to update the list of the MIDANPIRG Members/Alternates/Advisers, as well as the Subsidiary bodies focal points. Action by the meeting is at paragraph INTRODUCTION 1.1 In accordance with the MIDANPIRG Procedural Handbook, each MIDANPIRG Member State should designate a Member, an Alternate and Adviser(s) able to support MIDANPIRG goals and objectives. 2. DISCUSSION 2.1 The list of MIDANPIRG Members/Alternates/Advisers at Appendix A should be updated on a regular basis. 2.2 Participation in the Subsidiary bodies should be by specialists in the subjects under consideration. Such specialists should have relevant experience in the field concerned. The list of the Subsidiary bodies Focal Points (ATM SG, AIM SG, CNS SG, MET SG and PBN SG) are at Appendices B, C, D, E and F, respectively. 3. ACTION BY THE MEETING 3.1 The meeting is invited to: a) review and update the list of MIDANPIRG Members/Alternates/Advisers at Appendix A; b) review and update the list of Focal Points at Appendices B, C, D, E and F; and c) urge States to support the work of the Subsidiary bodies by providing experts and specialists able to effectively contribute to the work of the different MIDANPIRG subsidiary bodies
