1 28/01/2018 International Civil Aviation Organization MID Annual Safety Report Team Second Meeting (MID-ASRT/2) (Cairo, Egypt, 4 5 February 2018) Agenda Item 2: Work Programme DESIGNATED MEMBERS AND FOCAL POINTS (Presented by the Secretariat) SUMMARY The aim of this paper is to update the list of the MID-ASRT Members and Focal Points. Action by the meeting is at paragraph INTRODUCTION 1.1 The RASG-MID/6 meeting agreed that in order to improve efficiency of collecting and analysis of data, the composition of the MID-ASRT should encompass members from States and industry partners to actively participate in the MID-ASRT activities including the face-to-face meetings. 1.2 As a follow-up action, the ICAOMID Regional Office issued State Letter Ref.: ME 4 17/306, dated 2 November 2017 requesting States to designate member(s) for the MID- ASRT. It highlighted the importance of members participation in the ASRT activities including the face-to-face meeting and the work required between meetings. The Office received replies from Ten (10) States and two (2) Organizations (Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, IFATCA and IFALPA). The list of Designated Members is at Appendix A. 1.3 It is to be highlighted that all Safety Teams within the RASG-MID have lists of Focal Points. The ASRT list of Focal Points is at Appendix B. 2. ACTION BY THE MEETING 2.1 The meeting is invited to review and update the list of ASRT Members and Focal Points at Appendices A and B, respectively
