8 international monthly report - News Key progress around the globe Hyderabad International Airport (HYD) was declared e-freight compliant in April Qatar Airways (QR) continues to push for adoption in South Korea, as well as with local customers in India and Pakistan. QR starts trial in CMB (Sri Lanka) and promotes multilateral agreement sign up with local agents Finnair Cargo, AirBaltic Cargo and Lufthansa Cargo, have successfully launched Single Process for the Baltic Countries. Each of these airlines is part of the wider Working group responsible to drive vision in this region. Lufthansa Cargo is reporting a 55% in Lithuania over these first two weeks. Lufthansa Cargo (LH) is now offering Single Process at BKK, GVA, JNB, RIX, TLL and VNO. Forwarders can now deliver shipments at these stations, regardless of the destination, without paper AWB. IATA will hold a public workshop on May 5th, 2015 at the Air Cargo Europe in Munich. Admission to workshop is free. The program is designed to provide hands-on information on how to successfully implement for Small and Medium sized forwarders. American Airlines Cargo (AA) is enhancing their system to be able to offer the Single Process. AA plans to aggressively roll-out at 35 locations in the second and third quarter this year, some of those locations are in South America (BOG, LIM, MEX, VCP), Europe (AMS, DUS, FCO, FRA, MAD, MUC) and China (PEK, PVG). United Airlines Cargo (UA) has begun rolling out to all their US Major gateways. They are also planning to expand their scope beyond USA to Latin America (Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico), Europe (CDG, FRA and LHR).
