1 BEACHLEY OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION THE 2017 REUNION 15 th, 16 th & 17 th SEPTEMBER DETAILS AND THE TICKET APPLICATION FORM Following the sad loss of Peter Burridge please note the change of address for ticket applications Once again the event is spread over three days the Friday evening Get together this year is at the Beaufort Hotel, Chepstow. Saturday is at the Chepstow Racecourse for the Heritage Trail and the AGM culminating in the evening with the Reunion Dinner, followed on the Sunday morning Church Parade and the Founders Day Service. One piece of good news is that the prices remain the same as last year. The dress code for Friday evening is Smart Casual and for the Reunion Dinner and the Church Parade, Jacket and Tie. POINTS TO NOTE WHEN APPLYING FOR TICKETS Applications for tickets are restricted to fully paid-up members and widows of past members of the Association. Applications should include a stamped and addressed envelope. Where an envelope is not received the tickets applied for will be available at the BOBA Reception Desk after 10 am on Saturday 16th September. There will be no Reception Desk open on Friday so if you intend to join us in the Beaufort that evening please double check that you have included a stamped addressed envelope. It will be of real benefit to the Committee if applications for tickets are made early this year thus enabling the planning for transport and accommodation. Catering is not a problem. The receipt of last minute applications for tickets maybe a problem although we will endeavour to help.

2 Page 2 Reunion Details Booklet 2017 SEATING Before requesting to sit with friends from the same or other groups please ensure that these friends are aware of the request, thus avoiding disappointment should the table become overbooked. ACCOMMODATION Concessionary rates for rooms have been negotiated and reserved for members at both the Two Rivers Hotel at Chepstow and the Hampton by Hilton at Magor. Accommodation at the Two Rivers is limited and is available on a first come first served basis. If requesting accommodation at the Two Rivers please state whether you are prepared to accept alternative accommodation at the Hampton by Hilton. There are several B & B residences locally but they tend to change hands and availability frequently but for those prepared to share a room The Green Man in Chepstow is well worth a look but is more likely to appeal to the the young, free and adventurous so have a look at the website. They have some 30 beds and the rates are outstanding. BOBA concessionary rates are only available through the Reunion Organiser via the Application Form. TRANSPORTATION Coaches will be available on Friday and Saturday evening. The coaches start from the Hampton by Hilton with a scheduled stop at the Two Rivers terminating at Chepstow on the Friday and at the Chepstow Racecourse on the Saturday. The fare includes the return journey. Departure times are printed clearly on the Reunion Programme and the Tickets. Should you be using the service you are requested to ensure that you adhere to the departure times the coach drivers have been instructed to leave on time and not to wait. PARKING AT THE RACECOURSE Daytime parking is available in the main car park opposite the Main entrance. Evening parking is available in the main car park. All other entrances will be closed. Coach passengers will be dropped off and picked up at the main gate. FEEDBACK The BOBA Executive Committee is committed to providing a sociable and enjoyable Reunion and consequently invite comments, suggestions and criticism regarding any aspect of the event and it is strongly advised that any issues, good or bad, are brought to the attention of the Reunion Organisers (Chris Ricketts, Geoff Warren, Alf Chrascina as soon as possible as most matters can be resolved satisfactorily and promptly.
