7 OPENING CEREMONY Grand opening of Trade Expo Indonesia 2017 was officieated by H.E. Mr. Joko Widodo President of Republic of Indonesia on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at the Nusantara Hall of ICE BSD City, marked by Banten drum beats by the President. Opening ceremony was hosted by Minister of Trade Mr Enggartiasto Lukita and Director General for National Export Development Mrs Arlinda, attended by Coordinating Minister for Exonomy Mr Darmin Nasution and more than 4,000 invitees consisting of buyers, exhibitors, Indonesian and foreign ambassadors and visitors from home country and overseas. 7

8 The opening ceremony was also highlighted with presentation of Primaniyarta awards for 22 best perorming Indonesia exporters and best performing buyer Primaduta awards for 33 overseas buyers including one award for the inspirative buyer category from Australia. Five among the 33 recipients of Primaduta awards are importers from Republic of Korea: Heesung Catalyst Corporation, ITC Co., Ltd, CK Global Co., Ltd. Poongsan Maru Co., Ltd. and Ami Trading. 8

9 THE EXHIBITION A total of 1,108 exhibitor jined in TEI 2017 or higher than the previous edition of TEI 2016 with exhibitors. TEI 2017 presented an extensive range of product categories in different zones, consisting of (1) Food Stuff at Hall 1, Furniture, Furnishing & Crafts at Hall 2, Premium Products, Ministries & Agencies at Hall 3A, Strategic Industries at Hall 5, Manufacturing Products & Services at Hall 6, Food & Beverage at Halls 8 and 9, and Province Premium Products at Hall 10. Exhibitors represent different scales and types of products consisting of export oriented national companies, small and medium enterprises usaha government agencies, and export financing support agncy. 9

10 THE CONFERENCE: TTI SEMINAR Trade, Tourism and Investment (TTI) Forum consists of Seminar, Regional Discussion, Business Counseling, and Talkshow. The theme for TTI 2017 is "A Breakthrough to Improve Indonesia s Profile in the World". TTI Seminar 2017 presented guest speakers from the Coordinating Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Tourism, Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM, and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia) 10

11 THE CONFERENCE: REGIONAL DISCUSSION Regional Discussion sessions aim at sharing and discussing information on potential export market potentials and challenges as well as the strategic solutions forpenetrating target export markets. 11

12 THE CONFERENCE: BUSINES COUNSELING Business Counselling sessions were designed to facilitate small and medium export enterprises and export aspirants with problem solution strategies and information update regarding export targeet market penetration. Participants discussed their respective issues directly with the counsellors from the key repreentatives of Indonesian Trade and Economy Office in Taiwan (KDEI), Trade Attache, Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC). Business Counseling is divided into 4 target market regions of ASEAN and Asia (non ASEAN); Australia, the Middle East and Africa; Europe, and America. 12

13 THE CONFERENCE: TALK SHOW Talk show sessions presented guest speakers consisting of Governor of Riau Province, Governor of West sumatra Province, Governor of South Sumatra Province, Governor of West Java, and the Regent of Sintang. 13

14 BUYING MISSIONS During TEI 2017, a total of 37 Memorandum of Understanding on trade commitments were signed by buying missions from 19 countries with total value of USD million or up by 11,5% from that in 2016 at USD million. 14

15 BUSINESS MATCHING TEI 2017 facilitated more than 100 buyers from 26 countries to join in Business Matching sessions that brought about a total transaction of USD million. 15

17 STATE DELEGATES IN TRADE MISSIONS Laotian Prime Minister was escorted by Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita to TEI The trade mission from Laos brought businessmen from the industry sector of mainy mining and energy. The mission was facilitated by the Indonesian Embassy in Vientiane. 17

19 BUYERS' NITE In appreciation to the visiting overseas buyers and delegates, TEI 2017 hosted a social sub event Buyers' Nite. 19
