St. Petersburg International Airport Pulkovo ( is 13 km from the hotel. We recommend you to take a taxi in order to travel from the airport to the hotel. There is a taxi service outside the arrivals terminal. A journey to the city centre typically takes about 25 minutes. Approximate Fare: 1500 RUB. VISA INFORMATION Concerning visa information, please visit the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Clicking on the link Diplomatic and consular missions of Russia you will see a list of countries which leads you to the websites of the Russian Embassies and/or Consulates in your country where you can find all necessary information in order to prepare a visa application. Once you find out whether you need a visa, we recommend the following guidelines to obtain a tourist visa to enter Russia: Register for the seminar and make your room booking at the hotel Baltic Star as soon as possible. In response to your reservation request sent by to the hotel Baltic Star, the hotel will forward you a booking confirmation. This confirmation is one of the documents which you need to provide in order to obtain a tourist visa.

5 Please contact a specialised travel agency to help you throughout the tourist visa application procedure. Gather all required documents (your current passport which should be valid for a minimum of 6 months after visa s expiration date, a recent passport size photo, the tourist visa application form filled in and printed out from the corresponding website and subsequently signed). The travel agency will provide you the remaining documents (tourist voucher and/or tourist confirmation, medical insurance valid in Russia). We encourage you to apply for your visa as soon as possible. The visa application process sometimes may take a long time to be completed.
