Springfield Road, Oldbury 14th October Request for residents parking scheme in the turning head of Springfield Road, Oldbury. Consultation with the residents living within the turning head has been carried out and the majority were in favour of the scheme. The houses within the turning head will need to be included within the permit scheme as they will need visitor parking. Introduce as a zone. Claremont Road, Cape Hill 22 nd January Residents Parking Scheme, shared use 30 minutes no return 2 hours. Permit holders 24/7. ** Mr Ali, 20 Edgbaston Road. 1 st March Include DYLs for 6 garages at rear of Edgbaston Road. Police are being called out and tow away vehicles. This can take 1 2 hours. Regular occurrence. Gladstone Street, West Bromwich. 22 nd February Resident parking for properties Parking problems of a weekend and evening. Check with Sharon Lang to see if Cllr Paul Moore wants to deliver the consultation letters when advertising TRO. Matter discussed with Robin Weare 22/2/16. West Bromwich Central Lyng Estate new development. October Coleen Haycock said residents parking scheme should be implemented as part of a planning condition. This would include Newhall Street. Chad/Coleen to keep us updated when these are to be introduced. George Street/Thomas Street, West Bromwich Debbie Hyde, 6 th August Change SYL on west side of George St, south of Thomas St junction, adjacent temple car park to DYL.

This obstructs footway for pushchairs and bin collections have been missed. Ann said a car can pass but mirrors are close either side to parked vehicles. Consider DYLs or SYL to stop Police parking. (Review No11) Cronehills Linkway, West Bromwich 8 th July Request from local businesses (Chris Hinson SIPS Education Ext. 8523) for double yellow lines (to include a loading ban) to be installed on the access road for Guardian House. Businesses are having difficulties with vehicles parking on the access road in order to avoid parking charges around West Bromwich and this is creating obstruction issues. The loading ban is required to prevent blue badge holders too otherwise the problem may not be resolved. Private unadopted Bratt Street 11 th September I.M. Change P&D bay outside No.109 to Residents Parking only bay. No ticket machine at this location since road layout altered. Want to stop visitors to town centre parking. Also to encourage motorists to use Multi storey car park. Green Street / Glover Street, West Bromwich 20 th January 2015 Residents of Green Street request for double yellow lines to create passing places for buses (particularly around matchdays) along Green Street and Glover Street. They are having a new dropped kerb installed and requested a loading bay. Not sure if they want to load/unload on highway or require DYLs to keep access clear. The request is for double yellow lines to protect the junctions at Trafalgar Road / Durban Road, Trafalgar Road/Salisbury Road and Trafalgar Road/Rosebery Road. Cape Hill Windmill Lane to Durban Road 17 th September Chris Clarke APCOA. No Loading signs in place on site, but TRO does not extend to Durban Road. Request for LW bay to allow parents to park to pick up and drop off children at Nursery. Nursery located on 2 nd floor of Temple accessed from Trinity Street. Introduce 30 minute bay M/F 8/6 between DYLs adjacent to Temple. Request saved in Support for TRO folder. (TRO 8) Unett Street, Smethwick 21 st January Kevin Bowden. Parking on both sides of the road obstructs two way traffic. Requested DYLs opposite Dyls required to protect junction with Ashley Road. Check if DYLs are required in Ashley Road. New development with parking to the rear but residents are parking on street. Piddock Road, Smethwick 12 th March Siebel Letter with signatures (cannot be treated as petition addresses not supplied) requesting additional residents parking. Anj said to make the limited wait bays on the side of the Police station shared use for the existing resident permit holders. Harvest Road, Smethwick 5 th May Site visit with residents from 114 Harvest Road and Sharon Lang. Concerns raised by residents regarding vehicles parking on the corner of Harvest Road (cul-de-sac where property numbers are situated). This is reducing visibility for drivers on the egress from the cul de sac. (Review No11) Shireland Road 15 th May 2015 Anj requesting that the shared use in Shireland Rd No Return Time be increased from 1hr to 3hrs. (Review No11) Rolfe Street 23 rd June Robin Weare/Ward Members. Remove section of DYLs to assist with parking for Jewels Conference Suite at Hill Street. Romove 50m of DYLs on the north side from a point 15m west of its junction with Hill Street to a point 15m east of the access to Smethwick New Enterprise Centre. Robin said try and make 54m to allow parking for 9 cars. (TRO 11 )

6 6 Stony Lane/Stony Street February 2015, Cllr Marshall requested for double yellow lines to be installed on the junction of Stony Lane with Stony Street. The vehicles are double parking outside and opposite property numbers which is causing obstructions for residents (having trouble getting of their driveways), difficulties for buses / fire engines trying to pass by. DYL need extending from Stony Street upto property number 58 Stony Lane. **Grand Close / Montague Road 6 th July Cllr Roger Horton. Anthony Hubble at No. 1 Grand Close, Smethwick tel Request DYLs for junction protection. Visitors to the pub are parking on the corners of an evening obstructing visibility for motorists. Woodlands Street August 2015 Henry Foster, Sunrise Bakery requesting Loading Bay. Propose DYL s opposite to cover junction with Rosedale Avenue so as not to cover residents on bakery side, and not requiring Signage. Letter ref:2050 Rolfe Street September 2015 request from Lee Knight (lorry driver) requesting further restrictions by train station as obstructive parking makes it difficult for lorries to pass. Letter ref:2051 Also phoned in saying two HGVs cannot pass due to parked vehicles and queue from signals. 13 th October Mr H Talwar, Star Windows, 16 Rolfe Street Smethwick B66 2AA. Siebel info@starwindows.co.uk Parking from station obstructing dropped kerb access and not leaving space for delivery vehicles. Requested a loading bay and DYLs for dropped kerbs. Does not want DYLs along complete frontage as customers need space to park. Neighbour Mr Doel No. 15, Doel and Son Tel has a roller shutter door where he parks his vehicle. This has been obstructed by commuter parking and it has been 9pm before vehicle moved. May need DYLs to protect. Speak to 15 and 16 to see what they want before advertising to make sure they understand what restrictions are going in. Old Chapel Road, Smethwick Uplands Manor Primary School request school entrance markings outside the school entrance on Old Chapel Road. (Check the speed hump markings) Parents

7 7 are pulling up near to the pedestrian guardrail and children are getting out of the cars into the carriageway. A number of near misses have been witnessed. Claremont Road, Cape Hill 22 nd January Petition - Residents Parking Scheme, shared use 30 minutes no return 2 hours. Permit holders 24/7. Rolfe Street / Hill Street, Smethwick 4/1/16 Mrs Ahmed 175 Rolfe St Tel or Siebel Parking obstructing access for deliveries. Looks as though access is in Hill Street, customer parking appears to take place here. May need DYLs in Hill St in front of access and extend in to Rolfe St to protect junction. ** Claremont Road, Cape Hill. 1 st March Mr Ali, 20 Edgbaston Road. Durban Road, Rosebery Road, Salisbury Road, Trafalgar Road, Cape Hill Leaders Office 22 nd March Parking taking place adjacent to build outs and on corners of junctions. This has obstructed a fire engine and also bin men. DYLs adjacent to build outs in each road and on corners. Robin said keep DYLs to a minimum on corners of junctions. Approx 24 build outs and 4 junctions below. Trafalgar Road, Smethwick 8 th January 2014 Alan Muddiman advises upon a street scene inspection problems were experienced with vehicles parking on the junctions making visibility impossible. The request is for double yellow lines to protect the junctions at Trafalgar Road / Durban Road, Trafalgar Road/Salisbury Road and Trafalgar Road/Rosebery Road. I.M. - include Raglan Road/Durban Road. Area 2 Herbert Road, Bearwood July Request from Cllr Eling to extend the DYL s on the corner of Adkins Lane into Herbert Road upto the footway crossing outside property number 23 Herbert Road. Problems with smaller cars parking on the edge of the DYL and partially over the footway crossing to number 23. (TRO 11)

8 8 Lightwoods Road March 2014 Mrs Natasha Simpson complaining lines at junction put back too long Lines were never painted to full extent reduce length. See letter ref th September Cllr Eling said the lines were reduced some years ago and the change to the TRO should have followed. Anj said reduce the lines now and change TRO. Passed plan to Mat, lines extend 10m from Give Way line. Check measurements on site. (TRO 10) Ethel Street 13 th November Fiesal Akhter request DYLs to be removed at side of 482 Bearwood Road. See request in TRO folder- Support for TRO. Anj and Rick made site visit. Done Anderson Road December 2014 Mm Alan Cross, 120 Lightwoods Road Request for double yellow lines to be increased in length at the junction of Anderson Road and Lightwoods Road. The resident advises there has been an increased number of incidents/accidents at this junction since the dyl were shortened, this is due to reduced visibility. Cllr Piper has also asked for the dyl to be increased in length ( to Sharon Lang). Sharon has also checked with Cllr Eling and he did not request for the dyl be reduced in length. Bearwood Road 9 th January Change SYL times to 6.30pm to match the No Loading times. Ethel St to Rawlings Road and Reginald Road to Beakes Road. (TRO 8) Sherwood Road 21 st May 2015 Cllr Eling said it had been agreed the SYL would be removed and the line had been burnt off. The TRO now needs to be changed. This is the SYL installed in TRO No.2 where the gap was filled in. Anj said keep the SYL outside Sherwood House to protect dropped kerb and gates next door to protect fire exit. (TRO 11) Ethel Street / Gladys Road 16 th July Mrs Coates 4 Gladys Road Siebel Request DYLs on junction by No.1. Parking obstructs visibility for motorists and caused an accident. I.M. did see cars parked on top of junction. Mrs Coates said No.1 Gladys Road has off-street parking available.

Parking taking place in Merton Close near the junction. Residents have received letters from the police, which stopped the problem for a time but parking is back again. Clifford Road, Smethwick. 29 th October Nicholas Drew Serco. DYLs to protect junctions both ends of the road and prevent obstruction. Refuse vehicle had difficulty accessing road due to parking and had to reverse out. Vehicles can be seen parking close to junctions on Google. Hamilton Road, Smethwick 29 th October Mrs Jordan, 19 Hamilton Road. Letter ref: DYLs to prevent obstructive parking at junction of Hamilton Road and Rathbone Road. Anderson Road, Smethwick 28 th September Mr S Salmon, 79A Lightwoods Road B67 5BE. Siebel DYLs to protect access to garages at rear of property in Anderson Road. Two green garage doors and green gate in fence is access to third garage. Police say contact council. (TRO No.8) Siskin Close 26 th June Barbara Barrett Shidas Lane Depot. Parking on George Road at junction of Siskin Close is obstructing visibility. Parking also takes place in Siskin Close. Consider DYLs to protect junction. Motorists have to edge out. Parking taking place by visitors of George Road Community Church. Weekends, Wednesdays and Fridays are busy times. Bin collections have been affected. (TRO No.8) Hillfields, Smethwick 8 th July 2013 Mr Stephen Driver, 14 Hillfields, Smethwick, B67 6QD. (See Siebel ref: ) Request for double yellow lines to be extended opposite his driveway as he cannot get access to his driveway when vehicles park opposite. (Don t install DYL s for individual driveways, would be the same for all residents due to the width of the road). Hill Top Road, Oldbury 15 th September Irfan. No Loading along side Health Centre from George Road Clarence Court. Need to stop blue badge holders obstructing footway. When pulling out of Sandfields Road a van is being parked on the right outside No. 48 between DYLs and dropped kerb. This obstructs visibility for motorists at junction.

12 12 Vicarage Road, Oldbury 8 th October Mr Bennett Tel Request to extend DYLs up to No.7, visitors to swimming baths obstructing footway and drives. Wheelchair users and prams have to go on grass verge to pass cars. Not a problem he keeps trying to get his neighbour covered for his own reasons. Brook Road, Oldbury 14 th November 2014 Request from Alan Muddiman (resident stopped him whilst on his walkabout) for double yellow lines to be extended from the existing location to new housing development site entrance. Problems are occurring with vehicles double parking and the bus is having problems getting through. Also visibility issues when coming out of the new development. Old Park Lane 11 th December Mr Carl Snelus Tel West Midlands Fire Service Due to parents parking took 15 minutes to drive through. Parking on SYL and DYLs. Major concern if called out on emergency. Consider No Loading for SYLs and DYL s (TRO 8) Springfield Walk, Langley 12 th January Neighbourhood Officer Bal Request for double yellow lines to be extended across the garages at Springfield Walk, Langley. Residents are experiencing problems with vehicles parking across the garages and they are unable to gain access. (Speak to Sharon Lang if need anything clarifying) (TRO 8) George Road, Oldbury 20 th Apr 2015 Mrs Webber 21 Bristnall Hall Road requested DYL s to protect communal access to rear of properties located on George Road. (TRO 10) Bloxcidge Street 6 th March 2014 Mr Cope from flat 3, Abbey court requesting restrictions to cover access and at junction with Joinings Bank letter ref 1403(TRO 10) Barker Street, Oldbury 13 th May 2015, Kelly Adams had a request from the residents whilst out on site to remove the DYL on the old car park entrance. The car park entrance has now been closed and the DYL are no longer needed in Barker Street. Also to reduce the parking restrictions the opposite end of Barker Street outside The Bell Inn. Cllr Ahmed has asked for the DYL to be reduced by two car lengths to increase

13 13 the parking. The residents have also asked for them to be removed as parking on street is in high demand. Causeway Green Road, Oak Green Way, Oldbury Siebel nd June Miss V Collins, Oak Green Lodge B68 8LR Tel DYLs on Causeway Green Road to protect access to Oak Green Way. Parked vehicles obstructing visibility when leaving driveway. 15 th July Mr M Ahmed 8 Causeway Green Road, Oldbury B68 8LD Tel Siebel Parking on both sides of the road. Main problem on the bend on side of church. Tel: Request DYLs for vehicles pulling out of Griffin Industrial Estate. Advertising vans are being parked on the motorway bridge and delivery drivers have complained it obscure visibility. Devonshire Road / Bertram Road, Smethwick 24 th July Mrs M Beale, 17 Stanmore Grove, Halesowen B62 0HG. Siebel Request DYLs at junction. At times vehicles park up to corner of junction. Obstructs visibility for motorists. (Mrs Beale used to live in Bertram Rd, daughter still lives in road). Vicarage Street / Vicarage Road, Langley 7 th October Mr Ghulam Rasool hsbtsandwell@yahoo.co.uk Tel Planning No. DC/15/ Part of planning condition is that a review takes place of the TRO around the junction. DYLs to protect corners of junction and access to rear garages off Vicarage Street(adjacent numbers 1 and 4). Mr Rasool asked for DYLs to protect car park entrance for Mosque on Vicarage Street. Mr Rasool not willing to pay for TRO, I.M. informed Mr Rasool request has been added to list and may take 18 months.

Pound Road October 2015 Request from Cllr Carol Goult for restrictions at junction with Farm Road, letter ref: Goode Close, Oldbury 1 st October Ms H Randhawa Siebel request for yellow lines to keep acces clear to numbers 39, 41 and 43. Resident at No. 45 has 2 vehicles plus visitors, which is making access to and from drives difficult. He either blocks access or parks opposite drives making it difficult to reverse off. (Wrong phone number on Siebel and no house number for Ms Randhawa. From description Ms Randhawa lives at either 39 or 43). Manor Road/Hales Lane Double yellow lines to cover traffic island. This has been advertised before however Cllr Bawa has withdrawn objection and councillors want DYLs installed to keep island clear and approaches by shop. Letter in support folder. (TRO 11) Bristnall Hall Lane / Yeman Road 18 th November Alan Muddiman raised issues whilst carrying out inspections relating to vehicles parking on the junction which obstructs the pram crossings at this location. Pedestrians walking to the nearby school have to walk in the carriageway due to the obstructions. Merton Close December 2015 request from Mrs Southall Resident No56 for DYL s at part of turning head see letter ref: 2090 Clent Road, Oldbury 11 th January Mr Goodhand, 86 Clent Road. Request double yellow lines to protect dropped kerb to shared access road in front of houses. Teachers and parents obstructing access. DYLs by 86/88 and 52/54.
