Oxford, The City of Dreaming Spires, is famous the world over for its University and place in history. For over 800 years, it has been a home to royalty and scholars, Nowadays, the city is a bustling cosmopolitan town. Still with its ancient University, but home also to some fantastic shopping. We intend to leave around 1700hrs and head to the Newbury Hilton hotel, we have used this hotel many times and its high standards never fail to impress. Monday we travel to pretty historical Newbury, stroll along the canal or maybe a little retail therapy before we head North back to Doncaster. Portmeirion is also famous as the setting for The Prisoner and home to Portmeirion Potteries. Monday will be spent at leisure giving you time to explore Llandudno with all its attractions.
