5 BIO JULIEN DE CASABIANCA 45yo, french and corsican, is visual artist and movie-maker. His work is always related to the street. In 2009, Gao Xingjian, Nobel Prize in Literature, wrote for him his first movie, a short-film, Night after the rain, totally filmed in imaginary city streets. The international pianist Yaron Herman created the original soundtrack. For his first feature-lenght, Passing by (2011) a movie hailed by the famous director Costa- Gavras, who wrote he was deeply moved and touched on the very heart, he shot during three years in the streets of 44 cities in 22 countries, only anonymous passerby. Passing by, also became an art video installation on forty screen on the facade of the 4th District Paris city hall, showed to passerby, order by Christophe Girard, Mayor for Culture, inaugurated and sponsored by Charlotte Rampling. He s regulary invited for lectures by universities (Tokyo, Hong-Kong, London, Leicester). In 2014, he has initiated Outings Project, street art and photography work, and he s invited to show is work by museums.
