Each family, village or group have to guard the areas and boats during transport, especially logging operations because of the value at market. (BJ McManama) 8 The hospitality and genuine goodwill shared by the Shipibo-Conibo was sincerely appreciated by the Eagles. Until the other enterprises of sustainable wood and fruit harvest were started, the women were the major providers for their families and community.
