2 INTRODUCTION Recent interest in indigenous aquaculture worldwide has given rise to a number of bold new initiatives including the Eagle of the North and Condor of the South Aquaculture Exchange Project, supported by Oregon State University s Aquaculture Collaborative Research Support Program (ACRSP) and Heifer International through the Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN). Through workshops conducted in Peru (2006) and Mexico (2007), this project has stimulated communications among indigenous groups in North and South America and contributed to the revitalization of the Indigenous Aquaculture Network (IAN). This image gallery is presented with the final report for the project s exchange visit in Mexico conducted March 7-14, 2007, to give a complete overview of the project, its participants and the activities undertaken.
