For this reason, we have partnered with Eyes srl, an Italian training institution with headquarters in Rome, Italy. 3 Discover Trentino-Alto Adige Trentino- Alto Adige is in the north of Italy bordering Austria and Switzerland with only two provinces, Trento and Bolzano. It is one of Italy's five semi-autonomous regi ons. Also, it has a large German-speaking population and is the second richest in terms of per capita GDP. As a land between Latin and Nordic worlds, Trentino is considered a guardian of cultural heritage including castles, sanctuaries, and artistically significant towns. The region has architectural work which combines Gothic from Austria with the Italian Renaissance. As you travel to Bolzano, known as the "Gateway to the Dolomites", you can see a fusion of the cultures. Important places are Rovereto and Riva del Garda. Rovereto has the St. Colombiano and the "bell of peace" in the MART Museum. Riva del Garda has the famous Pretorio Palace, a 13th-Century fortress. Trentino-Alto Adige is known for its beautiful peaks. The territory ranges from Adamello-Brenta and Ortles and and Cevedale peaks to the Dolomites of the Fassa Valley, Brenta, the Gardena and Fiemme Valleys, and Pale di San Martino. The Dolomites is most amazing feature of the regions which is a designated UNESCO World Hertiage Site that offers opportunities for winter

4 sports lovers. The scenery, not only of the Dolomites, includes snow-capped mountaintops, woods, valleys, streams, and lakes. Also, hundreds of miles of ski slopes and resorts like Madonna di Campiglio, Canazei, Moena, and San Martino di Castrozza, make Trentino a perfect tourist location in both the winter and the summer. Food is simple, made with locally grown products. The most celebrated speciality is Speck, a Tyrol smoked h a m. Typical cheeses are represented by grana trentin, toma di montagna and casolet. Polenta is also served as a first course with corn meal and a meat. Other first courses include barley soup, pasta and beans, mushroom soup, and the most prominent, brò b rus à. When it comes to the main courses, the specialities include rabbit with grappa, goulash, roe deer with polent, trout, and pork sausage (lucanica). Another important local food is the Val di Non Apple, which is used to make strudel and fruit tarts. The region also has a fine selection of wines include Merlot, Cabernet, Pinot, and Chardonnay. Services, such as real estate, public administration, and those dealing with the community account for 73.1% of the region, followed by 23.5% for industry, and 3.4% for agriculture. Tourism is important and related to the magnificant peaks. For industry, the most important manufacturing sectors are textiles, construction materials, mechanics, food processing, and wood and paper making. Some important statistics of Trentino include wealth and unemployment. Trentino exceeds Italy's total averages in these categories. GDP per capita in Italy totals 23, 870 Euro per year, while Trentino totals 33, 089 Euro
