Foreword - Roll of Honour - Event s presentation 1.1 Foreword Rally Italia is taking place for the twelfth times in a row in Sardinia, the second biggest Italian island both for size and inhabitants. The Italian round of the 2015 FIA World Rally Championship, is organized by Automobile Club d Italia, supported by ACI Sport S.p.A. for all logistics aspects. The 2015 edition of Rally Italia Sardegna will take place from June 11 th to 14 th and includes the provinces of Cagliari, Oristano, Sassari, Olbia-Tempio and Nuoro, with the cooperation of the Automobile Clubs of Region Sardinia and thanks to the participation of the municipalities and institutions of the territory. 5 1.2 Event presentation 2015 Rally Italia Sardegna, scheduled from June 11 th to 14 th, and for the twelfth time to be run in Sardinia, confirms the format of the succesful 2014 edition. Alghero has been confirmed as base of the rally Head Quarter of the event, Cagliari will host the ceremonial start and the first Special Stage Rally Italia Sardegna is going to involve all four historical regions of the island: Cagliari for the ceremonial start and the first SS, Oristano and Sassari during Day1 (Friday June 12th), Sassari, Olbia-Tempio and Nuoro during Day2 (Saturday June 13th) and Sassari for the grand final with the Power Stage Cala Flumini, one of the most significant and demanding stages of the World Rally Championship. Base of the event Alghero, hosting the final arrival ceremony, close to the town s Ramparts, and the main Service Park along the docks of the touristic harbour, the ramblas of the Bousquets Promenade and Piazzale della Pace, in the historic centre of the town. Alghero has over inhabitants and is known also as little Barcelona since it maintained the use of the Catalan language. The 22.4% of the inhabitants speak the Alghero version of the Catalan language, which has been recognized by the Italian Republic and the Sardinia Region as an official minority language. Alghero host an institutional delegation of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the regional government of Catalonia. Alghero is one of the doors to Sardinia, thanks to the commercial harbour of Porto Torres and the airport Alghero-Riviera del Corallo, located 10 km north of the town and open to both national and international flights, with approximately 3.5 millions passengers every year. The Head Quarter of 2015 Rally Italia Sardegna, is the main town of the Riviera del Corallo (Coral Riviera), name that derives from the fact that in its bay there is the highest quantity of the most precious red coral, that specialized divers still pick up. The coral working and sell still paly an important economic and cultural role. 1.3 Validity Rally Guide 1, published in the month of February 2015 has no regulatory power. It is a document produced for all Teams, Competitors and Media representatives to prepare in advance the Italian round of the FIA World Rally Championship. Priority will be granted as follows: a. Priority 1 (P1) drivers; b. Priority 2 (P2) drivers; c. Priority 3 (P3) Drivers entered in the FIA WRC2 and WRC3; d. Non Priority drivers entered in the Italian Gravel Rally Trophy of ACI Sport (T.R.T.) e. Non Priority Drivers. 9 If more than 90 entries are received the organizers reserve the right to decide which drivers, among the non-priority ones, will be accepted according to drivers results and characteristics of their cars. In case an entry is not accepted the Organizers will refund the entry fee reduced by any bank charges incurred during the banking process Closing date for Entries The entry form and copy of the fee payment receipt must be sent to info@rallyitaliasardegna.com by Monday 11 May, entry closing date. The original form and fee payment receipt have to reach the Rally Office within seven days (and anyway by Monday 18 May 2015) after the has been sent. The entry will be accepted only if accompanied by the total amount of the entry fee or a receipt issued by the Competitor s Sporting Authority; Any entry application form sent without the relevant fee will not be taken into consideration and the Organizers have no obligation to inform the concerned party.

Service Park 5.1 Information about the Service Park Service Park Location: Porto turistico e Piazzale della Pace - Alghero Inside the Service Park all entrants will have the following spaces: WRC Manufacturers, WRC Teams, WRC2 drivers and WRC3 drivers will have the space recommended by the FIA. All other competitors will have an area of 100 square meters. Should an entrant require more space, he/she must contact the Organisers no later than Thursday 28 May. The Organisers will try to satisfy the needs as much as possible. After this date requests will not be accepted.

11 5.1.2 Access to the Service Park SERVICE and AUXILIARY plates necessary to access the Service Park are included in the Entry Package, that will be given during the Pre-reconnaissance sign on, Sunday 7 June During the event, only cars provided with SERVICE and AUXILIARY plates distributed by the Organizers will be allowed to enter the Service Park Plates must be fixed inside the car, on the right side of the windscreen (co-driver side). The Service Park will open on Saturday 6 June 2015 at 10: Allocated Service Areas in the Service Park After the entry closing date, the area corresponding to each competitor will be drawn on the final layout of the Service Park. P1, P2 and non priority Competitors whishing to use a joint area with other competitors must request it to the Permanent Secretariat within Thursday 28 May Facilities in the Service Park The organiser will guarantee the following general facilities inside the service park: - waste collection for mixed waste, oil, paper, etc. - toilets - general security in the Service Park area - electricity up to 3 Kw - water - car wash before entering the Service Park The organiser can provide on request the following additional services: - private security service - additional portable toilets inside the team area - portable waste water tanks - waste water tank and motorhome septic tank emptying - electricity over 3 Kw - forklift service and containers handling The list of extra facilities will be published on the event website. 6. Two Way Radio 6.1 License Application Procedure 11 Every radio transmitter is subject to licensing. In order to get the license it is compulsory to fill in and send the radio license application form to the organisers no later than Monday 11 May 2015 (Application form will be available upon request from the Permanent Secretariat and on the event website). The organisers will forward all requests to the Ministry of Communications with all details about frequency range. The Ministry will decide if the requested frequencies can be assigned and will issue a license. The Ministry Officials will monitor the use of radio transmitters during the Rally. Unlicensed use of a radio transmitter is forbidden and may lead to prohibition of the use of the transmitter, as well as a fine and/or the confiscation of the equipment. 6.2 Radio Contact details Radio Communications Carlo Paroldi carlo.paroldi@gmail.com

Helicopters 8.1 Registration In order to ensure that air traffic may flow within the maximum safety conditions and according to the FIA Safety Regulations and the Italian Air Traffic Authority, all helicopters flying over the area of Rally Italia Sardegna during the event, must be registered at the Rally Organization Office. Only duly registered helicopters will be allowed to fly over the Rally area and land in the helicopters zones or other sites provided during the competition. 8.2 Registration form and Procedure Registration form has to be sent to the Rally Office by electronic mail (info@rallyitaliasardegna.com) within Friday 5 June All the needed documentation and all other information will be given out during the Pilots Briefing that will take place at Rally HQ on Thursday 11 June Administrative fee Rally Italia Sardegna Organisers require a payment of an administrative fee as refund for all the expenses sustained for the management of the helicopter service, the amount is 3.050,00 ( 2.500, ,00 VAT 22%).

IBAN: IT 66T BIC - SWIFT code: UNCRITM1704 Receipt of the payment must be attached to the registration form. 8.4 Briefing All helicopters pilots must attend the briefing that will be held on Thursday, 11 June 2015 at 19:00, at Rally HQ. Failing to attend the briefing will comply the exclusion from the registered helicopters list and the prohibition to over-fly the rally restricted area. During the briefing all pilots will get three stickers with identification numbers that must be placed on the bottom and on both sides of the helicopter for the entire duration of the event. 9. Please carefully follow the instructions below, making sure all the requested information is included and forwarded to the correct organisations and address, as failure to follow the correct procedures will delay the applications process. Rally Italia Sardegna considers the Media Pass a working tool to be used only by members of the press. Under no circumstances will advertising, public relations agencies or similar companies and organisation be accredited as media, nor will Rally Italia Sardegna issue any accreditation to representatives (press officers or otherwise) of sponsors, suppliers, teams, drivers, etc.

14 Accreditation Criteria All accreditation requests will be evaluated and approved by the FIA WRC Media Delegate according to the following principles and procedures: Respect of the accreditation deadline Compliance with the requested elements of the procedure Commitment of coverage devoted to Rally Italia Sardegna Match with circulation and quality criteria All international media should refer to the Accreditation Guidelines for the 2015 FIA World Rally Championship. Please apply following the Accreditation Guidelines for the 2015 FIA World Rally Championship. This document can be found on the FIA website. All international requests from publications, agencies and websites for rally-by-rally or permanent accreditations must be made online. First-time applicants (publications / agencies / websites) must register before any accreditation can be submitted. The WRC online application can be found on the FIA website.
