It s a place right at the heart of the city, sitting on historic Bebelplatz and overlooking the fashionable Mitte district. It s an imposing building with a team dedicated to providing friendly and personalised service. 1

An unusual name An impressive history A hotel in Berlin called de Rome is unusual. We took the name from a renowned nineteenth century hotel that was once located on the opposite side of Bebelplatz.

We took the name from a renowned nineteenth century hotel that was once located on the opposite side of Bebelplatz. Our building was the former headquarters of the Dresdner bank. Today, the bank s executive offices have become suites. The jewel vault is our 20-metre indoor swimming pool. The banking hall is the grand ballroom. History is part of our fabric. 2 3
