My family has been in the hospitality business for four generations, in that time we ve developed a distinctive approach to service and a certain sense of style. We bring our expertise and attention to detail to our guests in a way that is natural and warm. Each of our hotels has its own identity. I always start with the location and the style of the building for inspiration. High quality craftsmanship is essential, as are the local artists and builders who share our passion for attention to the details that really matter. Celebrated designers Martin Brudnizki and Olga Polizzi have incorporated Arabic motifs and rich colours into the bespoke furniture and fabrics throughout Assila Hotel and the residential suites. In characterful contrast, the clean architectural lines of the building add a cool and contemporary feel, providing the perfect backdrop for over 2,000 original works by local artists. Susanne Jäger-Breitenbach, an art consultant, and Saudi Arabian artist Nora Alissa spent over two years curating the perfect piece for each space. Playful sculptures and paintings of bulls decorate the Argentinian restaurant, Pampas. Maha Malluh s four-metre tall sculpture of traditional gates greets guests as they enter the lobby. Journey of a Lifetime, her colourful installation of antique trunks, celebrates the travel traditions of Saudi Arabian women. IL CAFFÉ "The hotel is very elegant - a lot of light and unpolished marble which gives a sense of coolness and cleanliness.
