We pray this brief informational communication finds you and yours in the best of health and spirits as we prepare to return to Chicago for Saviours Day 2019, our headquarters city. Our Host Hotel and Convention location is the Hyatt Regency McCormick Hotel. 1. All of the SD hotels are excellently priced. The Host Hotel (Hyatt Regency McCormick) rate is $139/night for a standard room with no breakfast. 2. There are less priced hotels, so look good at the hotel list that follows. 3. All of the hotels are within a 5 to 15-minute taxi ride from the Host Hotel. 4. There is also a suite hotel (Home2 Suites) for the family as part of the SD Hotel inventory. This hotel connects to the Host Hotel through the McCormick Place Building B skybridge. Here is some basic hotel information you can use to help you make your SD hotel selection and reservation. a. The Host Hotel is the Hyatt Regency McCormick. The booking information is below. b. Chicago has a new hotel complex since our last SD that connects to McCormick Place Convention Center and the Host Hotel. It s a new type of Hilton brand hotel, and it s called the Hilton McCormick Place. This hotel is a Triplex, and has 3 different Hilton brands in one building. c. The closest non-connecting hotel to the Host Hotel is the Black-owned South Loop Hotel. Read the description below. It s a very good SD Hotel, and it s only 5- minutes away from the Hyatt by car or taxi. The hotel has free parking for guests. The hotel is listed below, and will be available for bookings shortly. d. The next closest hotel to the Host Hotel is the Hilton Chicago Downtown. This is where we had Saviours Day in It is an excellent hotel, and a 10-minute taxi (Uber or Lyft) ride to the Host Hotel. This hotel will also be bookable shortly.

Additionally, the hotel has a reasonably priced restaurant to satisfy your food needs. The hotel has a restaurant that opens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; a food and snack market; a food and bar area; and an Asian restaurant with takeout food that is open for lunch and dinner. They will also have a food area for SD attendees, so be sure to look for it. Self-parking is $24/day with in/out. The Hyatt rate is good; so a 2-night minimum stay is required. 4 Hilton McCormick Triplex Hotel (Connects to Host Hotel) The new Hilton McCormick Hotel is part of the new way of building hotels. The hotel is a Triplex Hotel, which means there are three (3) different brands in one building. The Three (3) brands are: 1. Hilton Garden Inn 2. Hampton Inn 3. Home 2 Suites. For SD 2019 we will be using the: 1. Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) and 2. Home 2 Suites (this brand has a kitchen area). All of the brands in the building connect to each other on every floor, by going through a doorway. It is a very nice hotel, and part of the new wave of hotel designs. It is the first Hilton multiple-brand hotel in Chicago.

The South Loop Hotel is Chicago s only Black-owned sophisticated boutique hotel with a perfect combination of relaxation, classic style, and impeccable guest services. The Hilton Chicago is the same hotel that was the Host for SD It has a long history in Chicago, and is one of Hilton s and Chicago s most cherished properties. The hotel is a 10 to 15 minute Uber or Lyft ride to our Host Hotel, the Hyatt Regency McCormick. There are a lot of eateries and stores in the downtown area where this hotel is, so if you want to enjoy Chicago, as well as Saviours Day, this is the hotel for you. The guest rooms are of high quality with plush mattresses, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions, ergonomic workstations, and a beautiful hotel environment.
