1 TROPICANA CORPORATION BERHAD (formerly known as Dijaya Corporation Berhad) ( Tropicana OR COMPANY ) REVALUATION OF NON-CURRENT ASSETS INCORPORATED INTO FINANCIAL STATEMENTS OF TCB 1. INTRODUCTION Pursuant to Pursuant to Chapter 9, Part J, Paragraph 9.19(46) and Part H of Appendix 9A of the Main Market Listing Requirements, the Board of Directors of TCB ( Board ) wishes to announce that the Board had approved the incorporation of the revaluation surplus, net of deferred tax, of approximately RM180.5 million in the consolidated financial statements of TCB for the financial year ended PURPOSE OF REVALUATION The purpose of the valuation is to ascertain the fair value of the investment properties of the Group for accounting purposes pursuant to Financial Reporting Standard ( FRS ) 140: Investment Properties. 3. REVALUATION SURPLUS, NAME OF VALUER, DATE OF VALUATION AND VALUATION ON INVESTMENT PROPERTIES BY VALUER Please refer to Appendix A as attached. 4. EFFECT OF THE REVALUATION SURPLUS ON THE NET ASSETS PER SHARE The revaluation surplus, net of deferred tax, of approximately RM180.5 million will increase the net assets per share by RM0.16 for the financial year ended DOCUMENTS FOR INSPECTION The valuation reports are available for inspection at the registered office of TCB at C-06-02, 6 th Floor, Block C, Wisma TT, No. 1, Jalan PJS 8/15, Dataran Mentari, Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, during normal business hours from Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays) for a period of three (3) months from the date of this announcement.
