1 TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATES ON TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR MRT CONSTRUCTION AT PERSIARAN SURIAN, PERSIARAN BANDAR UTAMA, CHANGKAT SEMANTAN AND JALAN SUNGAI CHUA, KAJANG 6 FEBRUARY MEDIUM TERM NIGHT CONTRA-FLOW FROM PJU 3/31 TO PJU 5/1 (KOTA DAMANSARA-BOUND) AND LANE CLOSURE AT JALAN PJU 3/22 (PERSIARAN SURIAN-BOUND) Date 9 February February 2015 Time 12:00 midnight to 6:00am Duration 20 nights Reason Mobilizing of heavy construction machinery to facilitate launching for special span There will be a medium term night contra-flow implemented from the traffic light junctions of PJU 3/31 to PJU 5/1 (Kota Damansara-bound) from 9 February February 2015 from 12midnight to 6:00am. During this closure, the following diversion will take place: Motorists on Persiaran Surian from LDP Highway wanting to turn right into Jalan PJU 5/1 or head towards Kota Damansara: will be diverted to the opposite lane (as indicated by PURPLE arrow in map). Motorists from Jalan PJU 3/22 wanting to exit to Persiaran Surian to head towards Kota Damansara or make a U-turn toward LDP Highway: will be diverted to use PJU 3/27, PJU 3/29 and exit at Jalan PJU 3/31 where they can turn left towards LDP Highway or turn right and be diverted to the contra-flow to head towards Kota Damansara (as indicated by GREEN arrow in map). CONTINUATION OF LANE CLOSURE NEAR IPC SHOPPING CENTRE TO INTERSECTION OF PJU 7/1 NEXT TO SURIAN UNDERPASS (KOTA DAMANSARA-BOUND) Date 9 February April 2015 Time 12 midnight to 6 am Duration 81 nights Reason To facilitate segmental launching, concreting There will be a continuation of lane closure for stretch of 450m from IPC Shopping Centre to the intersection of PJU 7/1 next to the Surian Underpass (Kota Damansara-bound) and closure of Jalan PJU 7/8 intersection with Persiaran Surian from 9 February April 2015 between 12 midnight to 6:00am. During these closure the following diversion will take place: Motorists from LDP Highway wanting to turn right into Jalan PJU 7/8 and motorists from Kota Damansara wanting to turn left into Jalan PJU 7/8: Motorists will be diverted to turn Jalan PJU 7/1 and make a right turn at the traffic light next to Tesco into Jalan PJU 7/4, then turn right into Jalan PJU 7/2 (as indicated by RED arrow in map) Motorists from Jalan PJU 7/1 wanting to exit Persiaran Surian: Motorists will exit Jalan PJU 7/1 on Persiaran Surian, turn right and drive ahead to make U-turn at Palm Spring Condo to access the underpass to exit to LDP Highway (as indicated by GREEN arrows in map) Motorists from Jalan PJU 7/8 wanting to exit Persiaran Surian: Motorists will be diverted to make a U- turn and take the roundabout behind Surian Tower, turn left into Jalan PJU 7/1 and exit to Persiaran Surian where they can make U-turn at Palm Spring Condo to access the Underpass to exit to LDP Highway (as indicated by BLUE arrows in map). MAP 2: CONTINUATION OF LANE CLOSURE NEAR IPC SHOPPING CENTRE TO INTERSECTION OF PJU 7/1 NEXT TO SURIAN UNDERPASS (KOTA DAMANSARA-BOUND) Page 2 of 6

FLYOVER CLOSURE AT CHANGKAT SEMANTAN (PJ-BOUND) Date 9 February March 2015 (including public holiday) Time Duration Reason 10:00 pm to 6:00 am 24 days To facilitate SBG installation and launching works There will be a full night closure of the flyover at Changkat Semantan (PJ-bound), from 9 February 2015 until 4 March 2015 from pm 6.00 am, intermittently. During this period, motorists are advised to use the following alternative routes: From Lorong Dungun (Damansara Height) to PJ: Motorists will proceed to Jalan Gelenggang and left into Jalan Beringin before connecting back to SPRINT Highway (indicated by Blue arrows in map). From KL to Lorong Dungun (Damansara Height): Motorists will be diverted to turn right at the slip road heading to Jalan Beringin, then right into Jalan Gelenggang before connecting to Lorong Dungun (indicated by Green arrows in map). Motorists heading toward Semantan Villas and Idamansara: are advised to use Jalan Duta route. Motorists from KL heading towards Petaling Jaya and vice versa on SPRINT Highway will not be affected. MAP 3: FLYOVER CLOSURE AT CHANGKAT SEMANTAN (PJ-BOUND) Page 3 of 6

SHORT TERM NIGHT CONTRA-FLOW AT JALAN SUNGAI CHUA, KAJANG (BANGI-BOUND & SEMENYIH-BOUND) Date 10 February February 2015 Time 12:00am to 5:00am Duration 8 days Reason To facilitate the erection of segmental box girder (SBG) A short term night contra-flow will be implemented in stages at Jalan Sungai Chua, Kajang (near former MCA Building) for both Bangi-bound & Semenyih-bound During this period, one lane will be made available for motorists for both direction (Bangi-bound & Semenyih-bound). Stage 1: 10 February February 2015 Motorists from Bangi heading towards Semenyih will be diverted to the opposite lane and those bound for Bangi will be diverted to their left-most lane. MAP 4; STAGE 1: SHORT TERM NIGHT CONTRA-FLOW AT JALAN SUNGAI CHUA, KAJANG (BANGI-BOUND & SEMENYIH-BOUND) Stage 2: 14 February February 2015 During this period, motorists from Semenyih heading towards Bangi will be diverted to the opposite lane and those bound for Semenyih will be diverted to their left-most lane. 5 MAP 4; STAGE 2: SHORT TERM NIGHT CONTRA-FLOW AT JALAN SUNGAI CHUA, KAJANG (BANGI-BOUND & SEMENYIH-BOUND) 5. CONTINUATION OF LONG-TERM NIGHT TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLAN AT PERSIARAN BANDAR UTAMA (LDP HIGHWAY; KEPONG-BOUND) Date 11 February August 2015 Time 11:00pm to 6:00am Duration Six months Reason Mobilisation of heavy construction vehicles, beam launching and concreting works for the MRT Bandar Utama Station. There will be a continuation of long term night lane closures at the following areas; A. One lane closure at LDP Highway (Kepong-bound, in front of Sri Pentas) B. Road closure along Persiaran Bandar Utama turning into LDP Highway (Kepong-bound; next to Sri Pentas) During these night clousures, motorists are advised to use this following diversion: Motorists from First Avenue heading toward LDP Highway: will be directed to make a U-turn at Persiaran Bandar Utama, turn right at the traffic light to Dataran Bandar Utama and take another right at of Lebuh Bandar Utama to join LDP highway Motorists from Persiaran Bandar Utama heading towards LDP: will be directed to turn left into Dataran Bandar Utama and turn right at the traffic light of Lebuh Bandar Utama to join LDP Highway (*both diversions are indicated by BLUE in Map) Page 5 of 6
