4 OJSC Manas International Airport General information JSC Manas International Airport includes: 1 capital and 11 regional airports. Five of them have the status of International Manas, Osh, Karakol, Issyk Kul, Batken (controlled by JSC MIA ). Others are ascribed as regional airports of domestic airlines: Talas, Kerben, Naryn, Kazarman, Jalal Abad, Isfana and regularly used by the Kyrgyz Republic Ministry of Emergency Situations. The main volume of a passenger traffic in Kyrgyzstan is carried out by the international airports "Manas", Bishkek, "Osh", Osh. Only Osh, Isfana, Batken and Jalal Abad airports have regular flights from Bishkek. Other local airports such as Karavan, Naryn, Kazarman do not carry out regular flights, even though they have the capacity of 50 passengers per hour, covered with asphalt concrete and the size of the runway is about х 35 meters.

11 Issyk Kul state THE LARGEST LAKE IN KYRGYZSTAN ISSYK KUL LAKE RANKS AMONG THE LARGEST MOUNTAIN LAKES IN THE WORLD. LAKE ISSYK KUL IS RIGHTLY CALLED THE PEARL OF CENTRAL ASIA. ISSYK KUL IS THE SECOND LARGEST CLEAR WATER LAKE IN THE WORLD, AFTER LAKE BAIKAL. 14 «Issyk Kul» International Airport Reconstruction project I STAGE OF THE PROJECT COMPLETED Within the framework of the first stage of the reconstruction project were accomplished: extension of the runway to meters; construction of new taxiways with length meters; expansion of the apron for the simultaneous placement of 7 aircrafts; installation of asphalt concrete pavement on the runway, taxiways and apron; planning unpaved area airfield and sidebands of the runway and taxiways; installation of antimudslide building and culvert upon runway; installation cable channels and section sumps; construction of the fence within the airport territory; construction of a new road to the airport and parking for cars on the airport land side; landscaping of the airport territory. The first stage of the project was financed from own funds of «MIA». Total cost 25,9 M USD.

15 «Issyk Kul» International Airport Reconstruction project II STAGE OF THE PROJECT Within the framework of the Issyk Kul airport Reconstruction project were planned next works: construction of the fuel servicing complex for providing aircrafts with aviation fuel; construction of the new air terminal building with modern processing equipment servicing aircrafts and passengers; construction of the airport power supply objects; installation of lighting facilities and navigation equipment for the first category ICAO for aircraft landing at the airfield at night; installation of light tower at the apron; construction of water supply and water carriage, engineer installations; construction of the fire safety station; the acquisition of airport special vehicles and equipment for the aircraft maintenance; construction of the airfield services base and special vehicles; further apron extension with increasing number of parking places for wide body aircraft; construction of a cargo terminal and infrastructure development of the "Issyk Kul" airport; construction of a modern hotel complex, retail and entertainment centers near the airport.
