How to get to the Memory Grove Valencia/Costa Blanca

1 ad mediterraneum's Memory is situated near the small town of "Carcaixent" (Valencian spelling) "Carcagente" (Spanish spelling), some 25 miles south of Valencia, Spain's third largest city. 2 from Valencia city/valencia airport to Carcaixent Motorway A7 direction Alicante until the intersection between A7 and AP7 (coast following highway to Murcia/Alicante). Follow A7 direction Albacete and Alicante (interior). After some 20 kilometers/12 miles motorway, exit number 373 "L'Alcudia/ Carlet/Alzira", following the expressway number CV-50 to Alzira. After the third roundabout, shortly before Alzira, follow CV-50 direction "Tavernes de Valldigna"/CV-41 direction "Carcaixent/Xativa". 2/9

3 from Valencia city/valencia airport to Carcaixent After the roundabout and crossing a bridge follow the avenue, passing a second roundabout until the exit signed "Carcaixent". Follow CV-41 until the next roundabout. Find a hotel on the left, a supermarket and a gas station on the right. Find the description "Carcaixent - ad mediterraneum Memory Grove" on page 6. 3/9

4 from Alicante/Costa Blanca to Carcaixent Motorway AP7 a long the Mediterranean shore to Valencia until exit number 60 "Xeresa/Xeraco" Follow main road N332 direction Valencia. After some miles follow road sign CV50 "Tavernes de la Valldigna", then follow CV50 to "Alzira". 4/9

5 from Alicante/Costa Blanca to Carcaixent After some 20 kilometers/12 miles, you approach Alzira. Follow CV572 direction "Carcaixent/Xativa" at the second roundabout. Follow CV572 until arriving a vast shopping area. Follow CV41 direction "Xativa". After 500 meters/yards, find a supermarket on the right, and a second supermarket and a gas station in front. 6 From Carcaixent to the Memory Grove To avoid crossing the village follow the relief road signed "Carcaixent sud" and "Xativa". You will have Carcaixent on your left hand side. After some two kilometers, you reach a new round about. Follow the road signs "Carcaixent sud" and "Cogullada". After only 100/200 meters, you reach again a round about. Follow again "Carcaixent" and "Cogullada" crossing over a railway bridge. 6/9

7 From Carcaixent to the Memory Grove Just descending the bridge, before entering the village find a sign indicating "Cementeri" on you right hand side. Follow the indication to the cemetery. After some 400 meters/yards, you arrive to a street crossing, having a small park on the left and a garden with high palm trees on the right. Right after this intersection turn right, following the "Cementeri" sign. (CV-5471) After one kilometre/800 yards, turn left following the direction sign "Cementeri". 7/9

8 After some 150 meters/yards, before arriving the cemetery, the road goes down, on the right hand side, crossing a dry riverbed. After some 500 meters/yards, in the middle of extensive orange field, take the fork junction turning right. Enter and follow the "Cami de la Serratella" Follow the road until the pavement ends and a chain blocks the way. Park your car and, after a short walk, you arrive to ad mediterraneum's Memory Grove. The last part of the track is only open after appointment with ad mediterraneum. 8/9
