2 The Violations Documentation Center (VDC) prepared and documented the data in this report based on its field teams in Syria, as well as the data provided to the center by the hospitals in Eastern Ghouta, the Red Crescent in Afrin, and the civil defense teams in Eastern Ghouta and rural Idlib. The VDC recorded 37 violations of Resolution 2401 on this day. The figures and data contained in this report are not final and are subject to continuous updating and scrutiny based on available data. Victim registration is dependent on the completion of the complete data required to document cases. Therefore, this summary does not accurately reflect the scale of casualties. For more information on victim numbers, please refer to the Violations Documentation Center s database. This is the final daily summary of breaches that the VDC will issue, as the level of military escalation in Syria was not affected by Security Council Resolution Eastern Ghouta: 1-07:50: Syrian government forces carried out shelling on the city of Douma, targeting the residential district of Haret Al-Joura, a market, and a mosque in the center of the city. The death of a woman and a civilian man was documented. 2-08:00: A Syrian government military helicopter dropped barrel bombs over the city of Al-Shifuniya. No casualties 3-08:00: Artillery strikes between Jaysh Al-Islam and the Syrian government forces were recorded in the Hawash Al Dawahira area. No casualties 4-09:50: Syrian government forces carried out artillery shelling on the industrial area of Douma city. No casualties 5-10:30: Syrian warplanes carried out an air raid on the city of Harasta. No casualties 6-10:30: Russian warplanes, Syrian warplanes, and Syrian air force helicopters carried out raids on the town of Al-Shifuniya. No casualties 7-11:00: Syrian military helicopters threw barrel bombs at the city of Otaya. No casualties 8-11:00: Syrian military helicopters dropped barrel bombs on the area of Hawash Al Dawahira and Syrian government forces carried out simultaneous artillery shelling on the area. No casualties 9-11:30: Syrian warplanes carried out an air raid on the town of Al-Iftris. No casualties 10-12:00: Syrian government artillery shelled civilian houses in Jisreen village. The death of a child and a civilian man was documented :35: Syrian warplanes targeted the Kahf Hospital in the area of Kafr Batna with two guided missiles. No casualties recorded (hospital out of service due to previous bombing) :55: Syrian warplanes carried out an air raid on the city of Harasta. No casualties 2

No casualties 18-14:00: Syrian warplanes carried out an air raid on Douma city. No casualties were recorded :10: Syrian government forces carried out artillery shelling on the industrial area of Douma city. No casualties 20-15:00: Syrian government forces shelled the city of Duma with surface-to-surface missiles :00: Syrian warplanes carried out an air raid on the city of Harasta. The death of a civilian was documented :00: Syrian warplanes carried out an air raid on the city of Arbeen. No casualties 23-16:15: Syrian warplanes carried out an air raid on the city of Douma. No casualties 24-16:20: Syrian government forces carried out artillery shelling on the city of Douma. No casualties 25-16:30: Syrian military helicopters threw barrel bombs on the city of Al-Shifuniya. No casualties 26-17:15: Syrian government forces carried out artillery attacks on the city of Douma. No casualties 27-15:25: Syrian warplanes carried out an air raid on the city of Harasta. No casualties 28-21:30: Syrian government forces carried out artillery shelling on the cities of Misraba and Madeera. No casualties 29-22:20: Russian warplanes bombed a residential building between the towns of Misraba and Beit Sawa. The killing of a civilian was documented. 2. Rural Idlib: :30: Syrian warplanes carried out an air raid on residential neighborhoods in Khan Shaykhoun village. Four women and one child were reported as injured. Russian warplanes carried out an air strike on the villages of Rafa and Umm al- Khalakhil. No casualties Syrian government warplanes carried out an air strike on the village of Hbeit. The death of a civilian was documented.
4 3. Rural Hama: Syrian military helicopters threw barrel bombs on the village of Lahaya. No casualties 4. Rural Aleppo - the city of Afrin: Turkish artillery forces shelled the village of Jandiers. The death of two civilians was documented. Turkish military aircraft carried out a missile attack on the village of Umar. The death of 6 Kurdish security forces was documented. 5. Damascus 9 mortar shells were fired from Eastern Ghouta and hit Al-Dulayah region, the refugee camp, and the vicinity of the Al-Assad residential suburb. The death of a civilian was documented. 6. Rural Daraa: Syrian government forces carried out artillery shelling on a town in Al-Lujat region. No casualties 4
