1 CATHOLIC HEALTH SYSTEM SISTERS OF CHARITY HOSPITAL - ST JOSEPH CAMPUS REHABILITATION SERVICES RELOCATION 2605 HARLEM ROAD CHEEKTOWAGA, NEW YORK PART 1 - GENERAL 1.1 Bids are requested from invited Construction Contractors for the Rehabilitation Services Relocation at Sisters of Charity Hospital St. Joseph Campus and will be received at the Administrative and Regional Training Center, ATTN: Mr. Gary Constantino, 144 Genesee Street, 6th floor, Buffalo, New York 14203, no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, Bids shall be opened privately. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted in triplicate. 1.2 Site Visitation / Pre-Bid Conference A. A Pre-Bid Conference followed by a site walk-through will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. in the Community Room at Sisters of Charity Hospital - St. Joseph Campus. 1.3 All work is to be completed 35 weeks after award. 1.4 Architect/Engineer: Direct all inquiries concerning these documents to: Mr. Daniel DeBoy 143 Genesee Street Buffalo, New York Phone: ddeboy@kideney.com cc: Mr. Patrick Smith psmith@kideney.com 1.5 The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids. 1.6 Bid Security will not be required as a part of the Bid. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required as part of the Contract. 1.7 The Owner reserves the right to approve or disapprove Contractor s proposal based on the qualifications of the Contractor s Project Manager and Project Superintendent. Qualifications of Contractor s personnel shall be made available upon request, after review of bids and prior to award of contracts.

2 1.7 Prequalified and Non-Prequalified Subcontractors: A. Prequalified Sub-Contractors are identified at the Owner s List of Pre-Qualified Sub- Contractors, below. B. In the spirit of competitive bidding, Contractors may propose Alternate Bids utilizing Sub-Contractors who are not on the Owner s List of Pre-Qualified Sub-Contractors. Alternate Bids shall be identified as such and shall clearly indicate the proposed subcontractors that have not been pre-qualified. C. All Bidders must submit a complete list of sub-contractors within 24 hours of their bid, and in compliance with the requirements of the General and Supplementary Conditions of the Contract for Construction. D. Sub-contractor list shall be delivered to the Owner. E. Execution of the Contract by the Owner without objection to any name on said list shall constitute an acceptance of the same. Should the Owner request that a different sub-contractor be proposed for any phase of the work, the bidder shall comply with such requests until a sub-contractor is accepted by the Owner. No subcontractor approved by the Owner may be replaced unless replacement is approved by the Owner. 1.8 List Of Pre-Qualified Subcontractors: A.
