1 Early Registration Nears End The AUGUST 15 deadline for Early Bird registration is just around the corner and getting away from you fast. If you haven t already done so, now is the time to get your 2017 CTC registration completed and sent in. Online registration will automatically shut down at midnight, AUGUST 15. Faxed registrations ( ) will not be accepted after AUGUST 15. Mailed registrations must be postmarked by AUGUST 15. All registrations received after the deadline will be returned. Registration will open again on Monday, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m. and will cost $90. If you wait until then, you ll miss out on a free participant t-shirt and 10 opportunities at $500 during our Early Bird Drawing. Get over to your computer, fax machine or to the post office and get your registration completed. Remember, that deadline is AUGUST 15. Hello Everyone, CTC 2017 is just around the corner and we are in the home stretch. It seems like just yesterday we were packing up after last year s event! You may remember completing an economic impact survey for our 2016 event. The statistics have been collated, analyzed and reported on. The Bradley Research Group tells us that Cruisin The Coast has a $26.1 million impact on the three coastal counties and a $28.6 million on the entire State of Mississippi. In every category, you graded us as either excellent or good and indicated the majority of you are very satisfied with our little car event. We want to especially thank you for your support and participation in Cruisin The Coast! Please read the newsletter and schedule closely. You will notice that we added a new stamping venue in to our lineup this year. We ve moved the Salute To Our Veterans event back to Tuesday and to Cruise Central. And for the first time in years, you ll be able to light em up during a burn-out in Pass Christian. We are also putting final touches on the Street Rodder Road Tour schedule. 2 Cruisin The Coast Visit Mississippi promotion 2017 Visit Mississippi is excited to participate in a special promotion for Cruisin The Coast registrants only. Stop by the official state Welcome Center in DeSoto County, Lauderdale County or Warren County and register for a special Mississippi getaway. This getaway will include a Mississippi gift package, a one night stay and a meal at a local restaurant. We are moving this patriotic event back to Cruise Central and back to Tuesday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The event pays tribute to those who wore the uniform of our country, but the primary focus is getting patients to visit from the Biloxi Veteran s Administration Hospital. Residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport will also be out to see your cars and trucks. Fly your American flag, wear your service ball caps and meet some real American heroes! Joins CTC as 3-Day Stamping Venue The City of has joined CTC in 2017 as an incentivised stamping venue Oct 5-7. CTC participants will be offered the opportunity to increase their CTC winnings at the Sunday drawing by $100 if they visit the City of venue and get their card stamped. Known as the Flagship City for its ties to shipbuilding and national defense, will open its downtown to cruisers and welcome you with open arms on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The venue will be much the same as our other locations, but with a Goula twist. There will be music, food, fun and cars, cars and cars. If you ve enjoyed the Goula Cruise the last couple years, you ll love spending time in the heart of the city. See you there! Burn em Up in The Pass! It s been a few years, but a burn-out event is back for CTC 2017! Pass Christian will host a burn-out on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 5-8 p.m. over on 2nd Street. This event will be open to registered cruisers only and will begin once the Pass Christian stamping venue closes, so you really don t have to go anywhere, besides down the street. The Right Lane Bandits will be playing from 7-9 p.m. Sounds like a great way to spend a day in The Pass. Your Car Can be the Star! ET Motorgear is again doing a Night Cruise shirt for CTC and is still looking for submissions. The Night Cruise shirt features vehicles submitted by you, our registered cruisers. If your ride has what it takes, send a couple pictures of it to Earl Tom at: customerservice@ earltom.com. He likes to have a couple different shots from which to choose.
