Sample Cuban and Caribbean food and drinks, enjoying a Mojito at the National Hotel, marvel at the work done to fortify Cartagena, and relax with us on powdery beaches. On this adventure you will get to see (as Christopher Columbus said) the most beautiful land that eyes have ever seen. Day 1 Nassau, Bahamas Embark Silver Cloud for our spectacular 12-day expedition. Day 2 At Sea As we sail towards Cuba, guests can join the Expedition Team on the outer decks and watch for birds, whales and dolphins, or head to the Lecture Theatre to learn more about Cuba and its unique culture and history. Days 3-4 Havana, Cuba La Habana is the largest city in Cuba. The Historical Centre of Havana is characterised by the presence of the architectural trends of the Baroque and the Eclecticism, which is the fingerprint of the Spanish settling. Enjoy a guided tour taking in the highlights of Havana. We will start our journey to metropolitan and Modern Havana driving to the military fortress Castillo de Los Tres Santos Reyes del Morro, from where we will have a commanding view over the city. We will then continue to Revolution Square and to the colonial part of the city to explore Havana by foot through the Historical Centre of Old Havana. After an early dinner onboard Silver Cloud, we set out to enjoy a typical not-to-be-missed Havana Tropicana Show. The luxurious and spectacular show, performed under the stars, offers Caribbean music and all the varieties related with the cabaret ambiance. During our second day in Havana, we depart for a tour to see, sample and enjoy three things Cuba is famous for: vintage American cars, cigars, and mojitos. Join us on a drive in vintage American cars to the Cigar Factory. Learn about the history of cigars and see how Cuban cigars are hand-rolled, before we continue to the National Hotel for THE Cuban cocktail: a mojito. Day 5 Punta Frances, Isle of Youth, Cuba This enchanting island was discovered by Columbus in 1494 during his second America voyage. It has served over the centuries as a base for English and French pirates. We will tender ashore at the Punta Frances Maritime National Park. Join our onboard Marine Biologist for a snorkel tour and learn to identify damselfish, jacks, surgeonfish, trumpetfish, parrotfish, triggerfish and turtles. Alternatively, explore more of this National Park by foot and be on the lookout for iguanas and pelicans. Day 6 Cienfuegos, Cuba Cienfuegos ( hundred fires ) is the city with an exceptional colonial flavour. The city was founded in the early 19th century by French colonists and has been called The Pearl of the South. On our tour we will visit the nearby city of Trinidad, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Founded by Diego Velázquez in 1515 as Villa de la Santísima Trinidad, it still preserves its colonial style: cobble-stoned streets, tiled roofs, the filigree of its grilles and inner patios remain from colonial times. We will visit the Romantic Museum, Brunet Palace and La Canchánchara tavern where you can sample a special drink made with honey, lemon and rum, originally given to slaves in Colonial times. Day 7-8 At Sea and Santiago de Cuba, Cuba During the morning Silver Cloud will continue along Cuba s southern shore, giving you time to observe, relax, and to attend lectures that will focus on Caribbean natural history. In the afternoon Silver Cloud will approach Santiago de Cuba s port and stay overnight. Cuba s second-largest city will reveal its most intriguing sites today. We will drive through the main streets of Santiago de Cuba on our way to Morro Castle, originally called Castillo de San Pedro de la Roca, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in A brief stop is made at Revolution Square before visiting the Cuban independence hero s mausoleum. We will visit Caney s Rum Bar, related to a famous brand that has a bat in its logo. The last stop will be at Céspedes Park, in the heart of the city. Alternatively, leave Santiago de Cuba on an excursion that will take the road to La Gran Piedra, one of the Sierra Maestra Peaks, to admire wonderful views of the coast and surrounding countryside. Later visit the Isabelica Museum an old coffee plantation founded in the early 19th century. Day 9 Port Antonio, Jamaica Join members of our Expedition Team for a visit to one of Jamaica s most scenic spots, the Blue Lagoon. We will also visit Frenchman s Cove and the architecturally ornate and historic Victorian mansion of Demontevine Lodge on Titchfield Street. Then, together with our onboard Ornithologist, we embark on a birding adventure to Reach Falls. Be on the lookout for redstarts, warblers, vireos, the endemic Red-billed and Black-billed Streamertails, and the American Kestrel. Day 10 At Sea A leisurely day at sea allows time to assess the things seen so far and to prepare for the different destinations still to be visited. Take advantage of the luxurious amenities and comfort of Silver Cloud. Day 11 Cartagena, Colombia Since its founding in 1533 by Francisco de Heredia, Cartagena de Indias has been one of the most important ports of Spanish South America. Enclosed by extensive walls and protected by several fortresses, the old part of Cartengena is known as the walled city and was declared a Colombian Heritage Site in 1959, while UNESCO declared it a World Cultural Heritage Site in During the afternoon we will visit the walled part of Cartagena with its colonial houses, narrow streets, many galleries and restaurants. Inside this protected area are the Museum of the Inquisition, the Museo de Oro (Gold Museum), the Museum of Modern Art, and the imposing Teatro Heredia. In the evening we will attend a special Colombian dinner at the monastery La Popa, from where spectacular night views of Cartagena can be had. Day 12 San Blas Islands, Panama Today we will board our Zodiacs and visit one of the 365 uninhabited islets and islands of Guna Yala, formerly known as the San Blas Archipelago, for swimming and snorkelling. Day 13 Colon, Panama Following breakfast, disembark Silver Cloud.

6 directions Booking Conditions The services that CCG Management Limited trading as Viaggio supply consist of arranging and coordinating travel arrangements as offered in the tour program. Viaggio undertake to perform these services with reasonable care and skill. Viaggio will not be liable for any loss or damage, which results from the act, default or omission of any person other than employees, our agents, or ourselves or causes independent of human control. This includes (but is not limited to), loss or damage which arises directly or indirectly from any act of God, weather disruptions, dangers incidental to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of Governments or other authorities de jure or de facto, wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, deaths, pilferage, epidemics quarantines or medical or custom regulations. Viaggio are not able to exercise control over services we do not supply directly, therefore Viaggio will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from: Any services, which we do not provide and which are additional to those described in our tour program. Viaggio will endeavour to provide the most suitable travel arrangements to meet the particular requirements you make known to us. However, travel is an individual experience, Viaggio cannot take responsibility for your individual satisfaction. When Viaggio make (your) bookings with suppliers of travel, entertainment and accommodation facilities or services (of the Supplier) we are acting as a booking agent for the Suppliers. The Suppliers supply all travel, entertainment, and accommodation facilities or services directly to you. Viaggio have no control over the facilities or services themselves, or the manner in which the suppliers provide them. Therefore you should be aware of the following conditions: Viaggio will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind that may arise from your use or consumption of, or inability to use or consume those facilities or services. The provisions of those facilities or services are subject to the terms and conditions of your contract with each supplier. Where for any reason, a Supplier is unable to provide particular facilities or services, then that Supplier may be entitled, under its contract with you, to substitute those services or facilities with comparable or equivalent facilities or services without incurring any liability to you. All facilities or services described by us are subject to availability from the Supplier. Viaggio are not liable or responsible for any loss or damage relating to your baggage, personal possessions, health or welfare, delays or travel disruptions unless these arise directly from the service Viaggio provide you. You agree that where our services are acquired for business purposes, or where you hold yourself out as acquiring our services for business purposes, the Consumers Guarantee Act 1993 will not apply to any supply of goods or services made under these conditions, and Viaggio will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage of any kind to you, including any consequential loss or damage however it may be caused. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT A deposit of 30% of your vacation fare is required within 7 days of confirmation of your reservation. Full payment will be required 120 days prior to departure. If you reserve your vacation inside 120 days prior to departure full payment will be required within 72 hours of confirmation. The currency in which the vacation is priced will be indicated under the Vacation Price section of the action information. Currency will very depending on the destination. Payment can be made in the currency quoted by Direct Credit into the specified bank account. Details will be provided on your Confirmation/Invoice Should you wish to make payment by credit card then the following fees will apply. It is important you advise of this at the time of reservation. Visa or MasterCard - 2.5% American Express - 3.5% CANCELLATION FEES If you wish to cancel your travel arrangements for any reason, you must advise Viaggio in writing as soon as possible. Where you cancel any booking because you have changed your plans you are likely to have to pay a cancellation fee. Viaggio may charge a cancellation fee as long as and to the extent that, we have carried out our service with reasonable care and skill to your reasonable requirements. This cancellation fee is required to offset booking, communication and administration charges that have already been incurred. In addition to Viaggio s cancellation fee, you may also be required to pay cancellation fees imposed by the Suppliers. The amount of each Supplier s cancellation fee is beyond our control, and payment is solely your responsibility. If it is your choice, and you decide not to use part or parts of the arranged services or facilities, you will not be entitled to a refund from us (provided we have carried out our service with reasonable skill and care and to your requirements) and you may not be entitled to a refund from any Supplier (unless otherwise specified). VIAGGIO CANCELLATION FEES ARE: From the time confirmation and payment of the required deposit and up to 121 days prior to departure - 30% of your deposit is non refundable days prior to the vacation start date - 30% of the vacation fare is non-refundable days prior to the vacation start date - 50% of the vacation fare is non-refundable days prior to the vacation start date - 75% of the vacation fare is non-refundable. 30 days prior to the vacation start date - 100% of the vacation fare is non-refundable. TRANSFERABILITY In the event of cancellation, Guests may transfer their reservation free of charge to a Third Party providing this transfer happens at least 60 days prior to the commencement of the vacation. From 59 days and up until 31 days prior to departure an administration fee of NZD 500 per person will be charged. Inside 30 days prior to departure it is not possible to transfer the reservation. Please note in general the ability to transfer your reservation does not apply to airline bookings, air tickets and cruise vacations. Other serves may incur fees. Please ask us for details. AMENDMENT FEE In the event an amendment is required there will be a minimum NZD 150 amendment fee applicable for each change required. INSURANCE Viaggio strongly recommend that as a minimum you insure yourself against cancellation, loss of luggage and personal property and medical expenses. FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS Your flight arrangements can either be made: 1. with Viaggio Lifestyle Vacations or 2. direct with your preferred airline Should you elect to have Viaggio make your flight reservations a service fee equivalent to 5% of your airline ticket will be applied by Viaggio. VACATION PRICING Prices are valid as at the date of publication of the individual vacation information and are subject to currency fluctuations and changes without notice. Selected vacations will be priced on a minimum number of guests traveling and should this minimum number not be reached Viaggio reserves the right to amend the pricing. Viaggio reserves the right to pass on any cost increase that may occur from suppliers or due to currency fluctuations. CHANGES IN ITINERARY Viaggio reserves the right to change or amend itineraries should we believe that the previous suppliers, hotel, tour company or airline do not meet our standards set or due to events happening around the globe. Guests would be advised of this change in writing. Some vacations are subject to a minimum number of reservations and should this minimum number not be reached Viaggio reserves the right to cancel the vacation. Viaggio will endeavour to offer an alternative vacation package whenever possible. VISA / PASSPORTS For all Viaggio Tours you will require a passport valid for a minimum of 6 months at the end of your vacation. You are responsible for arranging your own passport, and any Visa and health requirements (including inoculations if applicable). We can provide you with the necessary information to obtain any required Visa s. SOLO TRAVELLER Viaggio does not offer the service of matching solo traveler to share accommodation. UNUSED SERVICES In general terms no refunds can be given for unused or partially used services. PARTICIPATION IN THE VACATION Reservations are accepted on a first-come first- served basis. Viaggio reserves, at their absolute discretion to accept reservations. While on the vacation should a Guest display any behaviour which is deemed detrimental or disruptive to other Guests at any time during the vacation, Viaggio reserves the right to cancel that Guests participation in the remainder of the vacation. In this instance, any refund will be made on a recoverable cost basis. GENERAL The laws of New Zealand will govern any claims or legal action in connection with the provision of our services to you. Any claim or legal action against the Suppliers is likely to be subject to the terms and conditions of our contract with them, and may be governed by the laws of other countries. While we have exercised reasonable care and skill to ensure that the contents of our tour programs are correct, accurate, and up-to-date at the time of printing, please note that the contents are based on information supplied to us by the Suppliers. Viaggio do not have, and cannot be reasonably expected to have, personal knowledge about all of the facilities or services provided by each Supplier.
