3 HOTEL Hotel Monge 55 Rue Monge Paris As the former home of a family who once played a significant part in the artistic community of the Left Bank, the Hotel Monge, in the heart of the 5th arrondissement of Paris, has always been an address of prestige and significance in the Latin Quarter. This charming 4-star hotel reopened in 2016 following a complete renovation. The new décor of the establishment and its 30 bedrooms is largely inspired by the district in which it stands; a district that evolved in close harmony with the world of books. So, naturally, the design of the décor offers numerous nods to the literary Paris of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the neighboring University of Paris, known as the Sorbonne, as well as lithographs and souvenirs of journeys emblazoned with poetry and honoring the flora and fauna of the nearby Jardin des Plantes. NEIGHBORHOOD Ideally located between the Jardin des Plantes and the world-famous Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Hotel Monge, which has several rooms overlooking the Arènes de Lutèce, is the perfect starting point for discovering Paris. 4 GENERAL INFORMATION International Airfare and Transfers Limitless Planet is happy to book your international airfare for your trip to France. If you use miles, you will be responsible for booking your airfare on your own. Airport transfers available at an additional cost to and from the hotel. We are happy to make those arrangements for you. Private transfers are not included in the trip price. If you are arranging your own flight arrangements, please send a copy of your itinerary to kathryn@limitlessplanettravel.com Passport Each traveler will be require to have a passport valid for at least six month after your travel departure date. Limitless Planet is happy to assist you with your passport application or renewing an expired passport. Additional fees may apply. Please send a copy of your valid passport with your deposit payment. Travel Insurance Travel insurance is not included in the quote of this itinerary. Limitless Planet partners directly with TravelEx Insurance. We are happy to offer you a special rate if you would like to purchase travel insurance. A Limitless Planet Travel staff member will be onsite to assist in case of any emergency. Tours All activities on this trip are optional. Tours will meet in the hotel lobby prior to departure to travel as a group. Any passenger that is not in the lobby upon designated time will be responsible for their transportation to that day s activity location. If you would like to sleep in and skip a tour, no problem! It is your trip; we want you to enjoy it as you wish. Have something you want to do while in Paris that is not listed on the itinerary, let us know. We are happy to make special arrangements such as VIP Cocktail reception at the Louvre, or a visit to Versailles.
