Visit the traditional literati Yuyuan Garden, the atmospheric former French Concession, and spend some time exploring the Museum, one of the best in the country. Take a high-speed train to the nearby Hangzhou, which is located to the south of along the coast and was described as paradise on earth in ancient times. Enjoy boating on the beautiful West Lake. Visit enchanting Buddhist temples and sip the freshness of Longjing Tea grown on the rolling hills surrounding the city. Hangzhou has been voted the best livable city in China numerous times. Another high speed train ride takes to Suzhou, where literati gardens remain the way they have been for centuries with bamboo groves, rockery hills and miniature waterfalls splashing into pond-sized lakes filled with colored carp and lotus leaves. The Grand Canal, with its many artery branches running through the old town, symbolizes the imperial power of the old dynasties. Return to for an overnight stay and fly to your next destination.

3 Tour Daily Itinerary Day 01 Arrive in Arrive in by your own flight today. Meet your private Englishspeaking guide at the airport and proceed for a private transfer to The Peninsula (deluxe garden view room) for check-in. Balance of the day is for your own relaxation and dinner on own. Day02 Breakfast in hotel. Enjoy private guided morning visit to the European Bund next to your hotel for a fantastic view of the row of art deco buildings and the skyline of the Pudong District across the Huangpu River. Then, tour the classic Yuyuan Garden and the bustling Old Town Area full of antique stores and arts & crafts shops. Enjoy lunch at Nanxiang Xiaolongbao featuring the special Steamed Soup Dumplings. In the afternoon, you will visit the Museum to see its wonderful bronze holdings and other exhibits. Then tour the chic Xintiandi Area for a pleasant stroll. Stop by for a view of the new Suzhou Museum designed by I.M. Pei (exterior view). Finally, visit the Silk & Embroidery Institute for an appreciation for the thousand-year-old industry and craftsmanship in this city. 4 Day 04 After breakfast in hotel, first visit the Ohel Moshe Synagogue in the former Jewish Quarters during WWII. Take a walking tour of this old and historic neighborhood. Then, go across the river and have a bird s eye view of the whole city from the World Financial Center (observation floor is 1555 feet high above ground) in Pudong District. Return to hotel for a noon break and your own lunch. In the afternoon, go with your guide to visit Fuxing Park in the former French Concession and followed by an exploration of the Tianzifang Curio & Art Market Alleys for a wonderful old experience. Transfer back to hotel and balance of the day is for your leisure. <B> Day 05 D Early breakfast in hotel. Picked up by your guide this morning transfer to! Hangzhou Train Station for a ride (without guide) on the high speed train G7361 ( ; first class seats) to Hangzhou. Met by your private English-speaking Hangzhou tour guide and begin your exploration of the city at Huqingyutang Traditional Chinese Pharmacy & Museum and Qinghefang Old Commercial Street. Enjoy a Hangzhou Cuisine Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, go to visit the very active Lingyin Monastery in a small green valley where you find ancient sculptures of Buddha and other religious figures. Next, enjoy a private guided tour of the West Lake Scenic Area including lakeside gardens. Any airline tickets issued are subject to the carrier s refund and cancellation policy. We strongly recommend you purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance to protect your travel investment. Your travel agency and Access China Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour(s) that has only one traveler signed up. In this case, we will try to find an alternative tour for tour participant. If this is not acceptable, all money paid will be refunded in full and this will constitute full and final settlement for the client. However, your travel agency and Access China Tours will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by tour participants (e.g., non-refundable advance purchase air tickets, insurance & medical expenses, passport and visa expenses, etc.). If a tour is forced to be cancelled due to government s travel warnings, declared or undeclared wars, hostilities, civil disturbances, strike, riot, epidemic, and quarantines, your travel agency and Access China Tours will refund all participants payment less any irretrievable expenses and loss (visa fees, airline penalties, communication cost, and non-refundable booking cost, etc.)
