The items have been procured locally by Caritas and distributed using existing distribution lines of the Austrian NGO Caritas in close cooperation with their partner organisation NCIDE (National Commission for Inter-Religious Dialogue & Ecumenism). Beneficiaries: around families (appr persons) in the area/region of Rahim Yar Khan and Jhang, the villages of Bhoong Sharif, Ehsan pur and Jamaldin Wali. Total value: 75,000 EUR Federal Office For Civil Protection And Disaster Assistance (BBK) deployed an expert to a NATO assessment mission. A German Expert joined the 3 rd UNDAC Team. The Red Cross sends 1,000 tents tarpaulins, 1,000 mosquito nets, 2,000 blankets, 500 kitchen sets, 500 tool sets as well as other relief items. 300,000 water purification tablets The tablets are sponsored by the municipal utility of Karlsruhe in collaboration with the International Water Aid Organisation (IWAO) and the European Well and Fountain Society. Total value of the goods: 1,120 EUR The German Department of Defense donates in accordance with the needs of Pakistan: 50 Generator Sets, Diesel, 50 KVA, V 3 Rubberized Collapsible Water Tanks The total value of the donations is about 3,000,000 EUR.
