3 KidsCo Grades Pre K through 9 Why choose KidsCo? The camps KidsCo offers are conveniently located throughout Montgomery County! Each camp is packed with exciting themes, activities, thrilling trips, and games. Each day our campers can look forward to a fun filled day at camp. The excitement builds as you walk into a lively camp setting! Our day includes dynamic theme based activities, music, water play, sports, STEAM projects, and so much more! Read on to see what your camper has in store! KidsCo Camp Packs $35 KidsCo is once again offering your summer essentials in a convenient camp pack! This includes a beach towel and reusable water bottle in an easy to grab and go backpack! This item is only available for presale until May 12, 2017 and will not be sold at the camp location. Campers will receive their preordered camp packs on the first of their camp session. Our Staff Our summer camp staff are energetic, fun people that are experts at motivating even the most reluctant campers to try new activities! Our staff s goal each day is to make sure each camper is having a good time and is engaged in the camp s activities. My children enjoyed their time at KidsCo so much they didn t want to leave. 4 Theme s! KidsCo has been hard at work creating new theme weeks for our campers to dive into! Don t worry, we have also amped up our classics! Building towns, saving the day as a superhero, drawing out the mad scientist in your camper, and roughing it during our Campout, we ve made sure there are enough activites to excite your camper! For a detailed schedule of events, visit Trips Each week we have selected an exhilarating trip to get your camper out and experiencing the best attractions our area has to offer! From water parks to animal encounters at the zoo, hiking the falls, to literally climbing the walls, we ve got your camper covered! Our bus rides become part of the trip. Our staff help keep it lively with songs and bus activities to help pass the miles. S.T.E.A.M. KidsCo is calling all future innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can help us solve weekly STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) challenges. From building their own underwater robot to making clouds, campers will use their creative minds and critical thinking skills to solve each weeks challenge! Come join us for some STEAM fun! Water Day As an outdoorbased camp, we recognize the importance of keeping cool while having fun. This summer, KidsCo is turning our camp into a water park for a day! Our giant inflatable water slide, Water Balloon Pinatas, Slip N Slide Kickball, and SuperSoaker Capture The Flag, are just a few of the water activities your camper will experience on Water Day! Pool Day This summer, each week KidsCo will be spending an entire day at the Rockville Swim Center to make sure all of our campers get enough time to cool off and enjoy everything the pool has to offer. During these days, we have a Watcher on Duty. These staff members are keeping their eyes peeled around the perimeter of the pool to provide additional support to the lifeguards. Our staff are dressed in KidsCo swimsuits so they re easy to spot! While at the pool, the children in PreK through first grade remain with their counselors at all times, and the older campers are overseen by their counselors and have scheduled attendance checkins. Our youngest campers will wear an additional Eyes on Me wristband. This lets all of our staff quickly identify campers that are not the strongest swimmers. Parents can also request this wristband for any child, regardless of age, if they feel it s necessary. Sports Our sports program has gone through some renovations in order to bring our campers the most hands on, fun while learning experience! We offer a feature sport each week to introduce skills, practice, and play! Our Sports Specialist will be visiting each camp, weekly, to help the campers polish up their skills or introduce them to a new sport! We have selected an variety of sports to entertain any aspiring athlete! Summer CampOut 4 campers will have an opportunity to join us on the evening of, July 21 st for an overnight campout for children in 3rd grade and above. Signup will begin on, July 17 th. 6 Kids OnTheRun is geared towards campers in 3rd through 6th grade that are ready to experience a week of nonstop travel to our area s best attractions. Kids OnTheRun is based on the same travel camp concept as Teens OnThe Run, but with trips and shorter travel times aimed at 3rd through 6th graders. A trip with OnTheRun is an experience unto itself! From music, games, prizes, to Trivia s and Freestyle s, a bus ride with OnTheRun is certain to be an exciting ride! 2017 Kids OnTheRun Destinations include: KIDS OnTheRun Travel camp for 3rd through 6th graders A trip with Kids OnTheRun is an adventure unto itself! TEENS ONTHERUN Travel camp for 6 th through 9 th graders Ride in style on an airconditioned bus with TV s and bathroom onboard! Daily games and activities such as Trivia and Freestyle to make sure the ride is anything but boring! The best staff to ensure your child has a great experience! Overnight trips to Hershey Park (PA) and Six Flags Great Adventure (NJ) to allow more time to explore the park and hang with friends! Teens On The Run camp offers daily field trips for our older (6th through 9th grade) campers, while allowing them a little more freedom and independence. We re pulling out all the stops! We ll travel in style on the coolest charter buses! Bask in the luxury of comfortable seating, air conditioning, and TVs (there s even a restroom on board!) Overnight Trips! Teens OnTheRun will be offering two overnight trips this summer! On 2 and 7, we will be taking off for an allday and intothenight adventure! We ll be hanging late at the park, sleeping in a hotel, and waking up to a complimentary breakfast! There s way more time to explore the park and hang with friends. Hope you join us! One night stay at a hotel (ex. Comfort Inn) Breakfast included the next morning More time to hang out and have fun with your friends! Parents, you get a night off too!
