Oakland, CA (v) (f) 06/11/ :18 >, PM >, <elaine >, > Honolulu PA Teleconference and FEIS Update Good afternoon, In recent weeks, Laura Theilen has shared with FTA comments on the current version of the draft PA for the Honolulu Transit undertaking. We would like to set up a teleconference next week with the signatories and invited signatories to discuss those comments, other recent comments, and finalizing the PA. I am available after 2 pm EST Monday through Thursday next week. Also, as we have discussed with you previously, FTA's strong preference has been to publish a FEIS with an executed Programmatic Agreement attached as an appendix. Because of the recent comments aired, FTA decided to spend a bit more time working on the language of the PA and move forward with publishing a FEIS with a draft PA as an appendix. An executed PA will need to be completed before FTA could issue a Record of Decision for the Honolulu Project. FTA is reviewing the final version of the FEIS currently. We are anticipating that the document would be signed, distributed, and delivered to EPA next week. Once our Region 9 Administrator signs the document, I will send an notifying the consulting parties. There will be a 30 day comment period on the FEIS.
