The application is to prune back overhanging branches growing over the neighbouring property to reduce leaf fall. Consent is refused to the pruning back of branches growing over the boundary of 77 Brooklyn Drive because the works are unnecessary and will reduce the amenity value of the tree. The works will make the trees crown unbalanced and as the tree is more than 10 metres away from the dwelling it is very doubtful that the pruning works will have any affect on the amount of leaf fall.
