2 Homeowners Homeowner Picture of the Month I just love this picture! Submit your picture to Frank Jarke at jarke_frank@msn.com and it may be included in next month s Trailblazer. Homeowner Recipe of the Month Ingredients: 1 pound of Brussel s Sprouts Olive Oil Salt Pepper Brussel s Sprouts You Can t Stop Eating Clean the Brussel s Sprouts. Cut off the end. Cut each sprout into halves or quarters depending on how big they are and keep most of the leaves that fall off (Outer ones can be discarded). Place in a bowl large enough to comfortably hold all the sprouts. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Let stand while the oven comes to temperature. Set the oven to
3 400 o F. When the oven is up to temperature, place a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Spread the sprouts and loose leaves evenly over the parchment paper. Cook in the oven for about 20 minutes. Remove and let stand with a sheet of aluminum foil over the sprouts. Serve a side with your favorite protein. Eat the burnt ones they are the tastiest. Bon Apetit Comings and Goings New Trails Residents 14 new families became homeowners in the Trails in June. The Trails wants to welcome all of the newcomers to our area. Let us know if there is anything that we can do to make your stay with us more enjoyable. For those who are leaving us, we wish you all the best in the future.
