2 ROANE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE Media Arrest Summary, by 12/7/2018 to On December 07, 2018 at approximately 08:42 hours, I, Deputy S. Hammons was dispatched to 361 Dogtown Road, Ten Mile in regards to an unwelcome person. Central dispatch advised that the complainant (Vanessa Moser) stated that she was the protected party in an order of protection with Charles Tomlinson as the respondent, and that he was currently at the residence. Central dispatch did confirm an active order of protection in place (18 CV 2310), with a served date of November 21, Central dispatch also advised that Mr. Tomlinson had an active Roane County warrant in hand for a previous Violation of Order of Protection issued by Cpl. Gary Nelson on November 28, Upon arrival I made contact with Ms. Moser outside the residence, who stated that she had awoken just prior to calling 911 and discovered Mr. Tomlinson lying next to her in the bed. Ms. Moser stated that she immediately told Mr. Tomlinson to leave and exited the residence fleeing to her mother s adjacent residence. Ms. Moser stated that Mr. Tomlinson was an ex boyfriend who had previously lived with her at the residence, and that Mr. Tomlinson was prohibited by the order of protection from being on the property. Ms. Moser stated that on December 03, 2018 Mr. Tomlinson posted on Facebook that he and Ms. Moser were engaged despite the active order of protection. Ms. Moser stated that on December 03, 2018 she had contacted Mr. Tomlinson and requested that the post be removed, but had not spoken to or seen Mr. Tomlinson prior to discovering Mr. Tomlinson in the bed. At this time I made contact with Mr. Tomlinson inside the residence. Mr. Moser acknowledged the active order of protection, and stated that Ms. Moser had invited him to come back to the property after Thanksgiving via messenger. I did request that Mr. Tomlinson show me the messages to verify his claim, to which Mr. Tomlinson was unable to provide. Mr. Tomlinson was arrested for violating an active order of protection, and will be processed on the aforementioned warrant. Ms. Moser did provide a written statement detailing the incident with added allegations of missing currency from her purse; however, no currency was located on Mr. Tomlinson s person at the time of arrest. Upon arrival victim Ronda Baxter stated she drove to her shared home at 150 Maddox Hollow to get a child support check from boyfriend/suspect Floyd Hansen. He lives at this address. An argument began as she sat in her car. Suspect got in victim's car and took her cell phone to prevent her from calling for help. During the scuffle she received a cut inside her bottom lip and scratches to her hand. Suspect was on top of her and she was on the floor. Victim managed to get suspect out of the car and she drove to Blue Springs Road where her father and brother live. They were able to protect her until I arrived. Prior to my arrival suspect drove to this address in order to resolve the issue. Victim could not find her phone in the car. She used another phone to call her number and the her phone was heard ringing on a porch rafter. She was unable to reach it. During the time the suspect was there he had placed the stolen phone in this location. Due to taking the victim's phone during a domestic fight and the victim's cut lip and scratches on her hand the suspect was arrested for Domestic Assault. The victim was read a Domestic Violence Rights form and it was left with the victim. She declined transport from this address as her father and brother said they would protect her. She also declined medical attention. This did occur in Roane Co Rabe, Brittany Renee F 28 YRS W 12/07/ :56:00 1 ATM After Trial Mittimus On 12/07/2018 at approximately 1856 I, Sgt. 9 ROANE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE Media Arrest Summary, by 12/7/2018 to On 12/9/18 I was on patrol in the area of Roane State Hwy and Ruritan Rd. I observed a white Kia Optima stopped in the middle of the roadway for no apparent reason. I activated my emergency lights and stopped behind the vehicle. I checked the registration of the vehicle through Roane County E-911, which came back to Diego Martin. I approached the vehicle and observed a male asleep in the drivers seat with the car in drive and his foot on the brake. After several attempts I was able to wake Mr. Martin up. A check of Mr. Martin's DL found it to be suspended for failure to provide proof of insurance. Mr. Martin stated that he had just gotten off of work and had pulled over to wait on a ride and was adamant that he was not asleep at the wheel. Mr. Martin changed his story of why he was parked in the roadway asleep several times. Mr. Martin was placed under arrest for driving on a suspended license and transported to Roane County Jail without further incident Lewis, Randi Nicole F 36 YRS W 12/09/ :56: Attachment For Contempt/Non Support On 12/09/2018 at approximately 1256 Deputy Monday arrived at The Roane County Detention Facility with a Randi Nicole Lewis (Identified by name and DOB).
