Something that stimulates the senses, that s luxurious and defining. Since establishing BPM in 1995, I have been constantly inspired by luxury, whether it s found in the detail of fashion, the permanence of architecture or the experience of an artefact. Attention to detail and a curatorial eye are crucial, for each must come from a place of genuine artistic sentiment while creating lasting value and meaning. My passion for delivering exceptional quality is highlighted by my partnerships with the most iconic artisans, designers and architects of our time. 10 EXPERIENCE The BPM world is steeped in quality, beauty and the UNIQUE AND MAGNETIC exotic. A place where being extraordinary is about being unique, without comparison or equal. Following european settlement in 1842, Brisbane quickly became the principal destination for commerce in Queensland with the capital-to-be developing its own distinct architectural lexicon and sense of self. Since this time and supported by strong capital investment, Brisbane is now Australia s third largest city and the closest in proximity to Asia of any Australian capital city on the eastern seaboard. Coined as the Village of Toowong in 1865 by the early settler, Richard Drew, Toowong started to develop its own identity with the arrival of the Ipswich railway line in The Shire of Toowong was created in 1880 and was originally composed as a suburb of residences owned by an elite upper-middle class. Building upon this lineage, Toowong has continued to develop into one of Brisbane s most prestigious suburbs. But to know a city one must discover its secrets, listen to its heartbeat and take part in its performance. As a dynamic urban crucible where an alchemy of commerce, arts, architecture and culture coalesce to create a burgeoning and cosmopolitan city, Brisbane is composed as a series of colourful urban precincts.
