2 West Street is located at the edge of the renewal of the street. With major multi use developments HUDSON YARDS and MANHATTAN WEST in progress, as well as the addition to the PENN STATION (Moynihan Station) renovation, the area will change the current complexion of midtown Manhattan.

3 MADISON SQUARE GARDEN THE WORLD S MOST FAMOUS ARENA Madison Square Garden sits directly atop a major transportation hub in Pennsylvania Station, featuring access to commuter rail service from the Long Island Rail Road and New Jersey Transit, as well as Amtrak. The Garden is also accessible via the New York City Subway. The A C E trains stop at 8th Avenue and the trains at 7th Avenue in Penn Station. The Garden can also be reached from nearby Herald Square with the B D F M N Q R W trains at the Street Herald Square station as well as PATH train service from the 33rd Street station with a combined total of over 93 million riders annually.

4 Along the western end of the Street corridor lies many options for food and entertainment. The Jacob Javits Convention Center, New York City s main convention center is located furthest west. Manhattan Center, which houses Manhattan Center Studios (home to two recording studios), the Grand Ballroom, and the Hammerstein Ballroom, one of New York City s most renowned performance venues, is located between Ninth and Eight Avenues. In addition, the 14-screen megaplex AMC Loews, is directly across from Manhattan Center. There s also many choices for food in the area such as Lucy s Cantina Royale and Clyde Fraziers Wine and Dine named after famed NBA legend Walt Clyde Frazier.
