After being taken over by the Austrian fashion outlet group (Parndorf Fashion Outlet) it features many new brands and enjoys a much higher customer frequency. 4 MICRO-SITUATION AND NEIGHBOURHOOD The Freeport Fashion Outlet is in the immediate neighbourhood of the Excalibur entertainment park which, over the past years, has expanded strongly; a further extension is being implemented. Another attraction in the region is the casino landscape which is creating a mini Las Vegas at the border between Austria and the Czech Republic. In the coming years, new casinos and hotels will be built very close to the outlet. Especially at the weekends, the region has developed into a destination for outings for the whole area. 6 PLANNED INVESTMENTS A refit of the centre is planned for the end of The portal will be constructed in an art nouveau design and, together with a new façade, will significantly improve and upgrade the appearance of the centre. The art nouveau ambience forms a joint thematic background of the regions which, historically, have been connected for a long time. Informally the shop-fronts will be adapted and new stalls designed. 10 MARKETING The Freeport Fashion Outlet catchment area has enormous potential. Enhanced promotion and marketing for the Viennese is currently under preparation which will inform of the many new brands and, in this context, of the Sunday opening. The complete marketing is done bilingually and will continue to work for the target markets with different testimonials. By way of intensive social media approaches, a direct customer relationship will be established and combined with customer relationship management programmes. The combination of intensive cooperation with the shops, events, promotions and synergies with the entertainment park guarantees continuously growing numbers of visitors. ENORMOUS POTENTIAL

11 VIENNA REGION OUTLETS The Parndorf Fashion Outlet and the Freeport Fashion Outlet are connected under the umbrella brand Vienna Region Outlets. As a first step opportunities in the B2B area for the benefit of our tenants and subsequently also in the B2C area will be developed. The Vienna Region Outlets cover a catchment area with a population of over 7 million, which includes three capitol cities, 3 airports and many tourist attractions and sights. The Parndorf Fashion Outlet currently comprises over 20,000 square metres of retail space and this will, by 2018, be increased to 29,000 square metres. It represents, together with the directly connected neighbour McArthur Glen, the largest Outlet Center agglomeration of it s kind in Europe, with a combined retail area of 60,000 square metres.
