3 HOCKEY CAMP HERNING Fan accommodation festival style - just 200 metres from Jyske Bank Boxen Ice Hockey Arena In May 2018, Denmark will host IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. In Herning we look forward to welcome Canada, United States, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Norway, South Korea - and of course Denmark Group B to the World Championship. Take part in a unique experience At the World Championship in Herning, we will create a unique experience for fans from all over the world. For the first time ever, we aim to establish an outstanding Hockey Camp Herning just a few minutes walk from the ice hockey arena. This is possible due to the unique in- and outdoor facilities in the largest exhibition center in Scandinavia next to the arena Jyske Bank Boxen. The camp will provide a variety of accommodation styles, festival-atmosphere, food & beverage, lots of entertainment and good experiences with fellow fans. A new way of bringing fans together With the prospect of bringing fans across nations closer together, we hope thousands of fans will choose to come and join the new and fun possibilities. For instance, fans can choose to bring their own auto camper or rent one of our specially designed camp-accommodation styles. Whichever accommodation chosen, fans will experience a new way of celebrating the World Championship together with new friends from all over the world. Up to fans can stay in Hockey Camp Herning adjacent to the venue. The camp will also consist of a grocery store and the possibility of purchasing for instance sleeping bags, air mattresses and the like onsite. A shuttle-service bus will take fans to and from Hockey Camp Herning and the City of Herning (3 km away). Shared toilet and shower facilities is centrally positioned throughout the camp. Shared shower and toilet facilities of a good standard is included in the accommodation price. Both are located close to your room. 5 FLEXOTEL - Luxury model, placed outside in a green area This is the most luxurious accommodation at Hockey Camp Herning. The flexotel is a luxury model, placed outside in a green area. Shared shower and toilet facilities of a good standard, are included in the accommodation price, and located close to the flexotel. Room for max two persons A flexotel room is for max two persons, 3x2,5 metres. Includes: 2 single beds, 2 quilts, 2 pillows, 2 bed linen, 2 towels, 2 power plugs, light, 2 chairs, 1 table, door with key, shared shower and toilet facilities. You rent an open room screened with walls, a curtain and a rug in a exhibition hall next to the arena. Shared shower and toilet facilities of a good standard, are included in the accommodation price, and located close to the room. Room for max two persons Basic room for max two persons with carpet 3x3 metres, no ceiling, light, two chairs, shared shower and toilet facilities. The rooms are set-up in an exhibition hall. The tenthouse has a raised floor, and are placed in a green area, which is also used as a camp area for the event. 9 CAMP AREA - Stay in your own caravan Hockey Camp Herning also offers a stay at your own caravan, right next to MCH Exhibition Centre in Herning and Jyske Bank Boxen. Rent a camping pitch It is possible to book 2 different sizes: 7x10 metres or 14x10 metres. 7x10 metres: Max 1 caravan (+ 1 awning) or 1 tent per camping pitch. 14x10 metres: Max 1 caravan/mobilehome (+ 1 awning) and optionally a small tent per camping pitch. Electrical power and use of toilet and shower facilities are included in the price.
