We will travel to the hills of Tennyson where we will enjoy a lovely gourmet BBQ lunch surrounded by alpacas at this family run lodge. Following lunch, we will have a talk on Alpacas and you may even have a pat if you wish. There is also a store onsite for you to purchase alpaca goods. Nepean River Rowing Club Careflight Helicopter Tour Maritime Museum Cherry Blossom Festival - Auburn Come to the friendly club set on the banks of the beautiful Nepean River. The Rowers offers a picturesque setting with river & mountain views. A large outdoor terrace and floor to ceiling windows show off the gorgeous outlook throughout the club. We are going to take a base tour of the Careflight grounds at Westmead. There will be some walking involved and a few stairs up to the toilets. You will also have the option to buy Careflight merchandise and donate to this wonderful cause. Tour does not include a helicopter ride. It is located in Harris ark. We will have a guided tour through the rooms of the cottage. lease note hallways and entries to some rooms are narrow which may not be suitable for all types of wheelchairs. The Teahouse is a wonderful secluded destination within the garden offering a distinct personality that merges the indoor pursuits with visual inspiration of the gardens. There are numerous walks throughout gardens. Don t forget to buy some duck food at The Teahouse and walk down to visit the cute little ducks! The Museum is acked with thousands of years of history which tells the story of The Rocks area of Sydney from pre-european days to the present. Come and explore! lease note there are cobble stone paths, narrow corridors and some stairs. Southern aradise is the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere. Let s go and explore this magnificent temple! You will experience Tai Chi, a tour and vegetarian lunch. lease note there are some steps however there is a lift available. Get up close and personal with the friendly Australian animals in a peaceful Australian rainforest environment at the Koala ark. We will enjoy a Drover's lunch and sheep shearing experience. Celebrate the life and legacy of one of the district s most famous Citizens. In 1868 Maria Ann Smith accidentally grew the first batch of little green apples that bear her name. The festival started in 1985, as a true community carnival with good old fashioned fun. Clifton Gardens is located in the suburb of Mosman on Sydney s lower north shore. Hambledon Cottage Hambledon Cottage is a colonial Georgian cottage built by John Macarthur in It is now a house museum where visitors can experience the 19th century lifestyle and see original furniture of the period. A light morning tea will be provided. Bulli Beach Café Inventive cafe menu in a light-filled venue on the foreshore with a balcony overlooking the beach. Bring your binoculars, you might spot a whale in migration. May Gibbs Nutcote Nutcote is the beautiful harbourside home of May Gibbs ( ), Australia s foremost children s author and illustrator, best known today for her iconic story The Complete Adventures of Snugglepot & Cuddlepie. Located in Sydney s Neutral Bay, it is now a house museum surrounded by delightful gardens. Scarborough Hotel Recently renovated, this hotel sits right on the cliffs at Scarborough. The Hotel offers many lovely pub meals which can be eaten in the beer garden overlooking the spectacular ocean views. Wollongong Botanical Gardens The Wollongong Botanic Gardens is a great way to escape the everyday with its excellent network of paths to explore and hidden treasures to discover. We will stop for some lunch on the way home. Vaucluse House Is one of Sydney s few 19th-century mansions still surrounded by its original gardens and wooded grounds. When the towering colonial explorer and politician William Charles Wentworth bought the house in 1827, it was a single-storey cottage in a secluded valley.
