30 ELECTRICAL SERVICES Main electrical intake The main incoming electricity supply is via a UKPN HV switch room and terminates in 2 private network transformers. The transformers are each rated at 1,500kVA and can individually support the full building load. Low voltage distribution The LV distribution system comprises a main LV switch panel served from the 2 transformers. This board will supply the landlords and tenants electrical requirements utilising a combination of sub-main armoured cables and rising mains busbar. Individual lighting and power distribution boards for tenant areas are provided to risers suitably sized to provide sufficient ways complete with 25% spare capacity for potential expansion and future use. 31 STANDBY GENERATION A 1MVA standby generator is located at roof level providing cover to all landlord statutory fire safety systems. Spare capacity of 750kVA is available for tenants use, subject to building infrastructure upgrades and will be allocated to tenants on a load availability basis. The lifts are configured in a single bank of 3 serving the Fenchurch Place reception and 2 serving the Crutched Friars reception. 1 lift in each core is a designated fireman s lift. All lifts have a key operated goods facility and drapes are provided to protect lift car interiors. Lift finishes match the reception areas.
