Kyabram $535,000 $1,070, Vic Feed Operations Pty Colbinabbin Poultry and Pig Stock-Feed Manufacturing Mill construct a stock feed manufacturing mill to supply feed to the intensive poultry and pig industries. The project will include an extension to the existing Vic Feed Operations' mill, fit-out, extra storage bins and the purchase and installation of innovative stock feed manufacturing equipment for the manufacture of pig and poultry feed. It will be a major tourism drawcard for the region and will have strong economic benefits. Local Dookie $275,000 $550,00 J. Furphy & Sons Pty Pillowplate Heat Exchanger Laser Welding Machine This project involves purchase and installation of a new laser welding machine that will enable production of pillowplate heat exchange panels for existing and new applications. New applications for the manufacture of panels include supply of value added panels to a Victorian company, Raygen, which will revolutionize solar thermal technology. Shepparton $675,000 $1,350,

The investment will see 3.02ha prepared with state-of-the-art irrigation. Custommade trellis will help quadruple yield and support rain covers to stop rain damage which can wipe out entire crops. Over 12,000 trees will be planted, trained and pruned into trellised hedges. Route 5 will see a vital link to the existing shared path network along the Goulburn River to the Australian Botanic Gardens (ABGS) on the southern side of the Broken River. This will connect the Gardens to the Victoria Park Lake precinct and provide a valuble addition to tourism and recreational opportunities for visitors and locals alike. Radnor Corp, trading as Forbidden Foods, currently imports, manufacturers and distributes boutique rice products throughout Australia and New Zealand, and re-exports value added rice products to the UK, US, Ireland and Singapore. The ultimate aim is to become fully vertical, supporting existing farmers and reestablishing the Victorian rice industry to produce a Victorian grown rice which is milled, packaged and distributed to highend outlets across the country and the export market. Enhanced Organic Waste Conversion and Protein Recovery Facility Symbiopro is deploying an innovative technology to bioconvert low value organic waste into high value protein based animal feeds for the livestock and pet food markets, as well as natural fertiliser for agriculture. The project will conduct a full feasibility study of a Symbiopro facility for the Goulburn Valley region, including local waste material feasability testing, product output trials and tailored engineering design. Successful completion of this feasibility study will lead towards structuring of a capital raise for this facility. This facility will provide numerous economic, social and environmental benefits, both in the short and long term for the Goulburn Valley. Girgarre $100,000 $200,00 Kinglake Distillery Pty.. Expansion of Existing Whisky Distillery The project will expand the production, storage capacity and tasting room of an existing whisky distillery. This will provide sufficient product to prepare for the export market and to offer a contract distilling service. It will also boost the profile an important Kinglake tourist attraction. 7 Name Description Stream Indigo Shire Council Refurbishment of the Beechworth Railway Goods Shed This project involves the refurbishment of the Beechworth Railway Goods Shed into a multi-purpose commercial space to complement the railway station precinct and adjacent rail trail. The re-activated Goods Shed will be a vital link as the entry point to two legs of the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. The $6 million leg from Beechworth to Yackandandah is expected to begin construction in It is expected that with cycle-related businesses and other enterprises such as the Beechworth Food Co-op situated at the Goods Shed, the project will generate a significant boost to the economy of Indigo Shire and create jobs. 8 Name Description Stream Westmont Aged Care Services Limited Scoping the Skills and Training Needs of Rural Aged Care Workers The demand for an appropriately skilled and committed aged care (AC) workforce in rural areas has escalated over decades. Workforce estimates indicate a worsening of the current situation due to the ageing and imminent retirement of a large number of community AC workers. The care needs of a growing population of community-living elders are more complex given the high prevalence of multiple and chronic physical and cognitive conditions among this group. Industry and policy demands for high quality and costeffective care into the future are threatened by projected workforce and skill shortfalls as well as by dissatisfaction with current training courses. This increase will support the region's vineyards, from which the fruit is sourced, and increase the capacity of the winery by around 12%. Works include construction of a shared pathway along an 800m section of River Road and foreshore development of The Point further to the East. Works at The Point include the development of shared pathways, a boardwalk, jetties, retaining wall and viewing platforms as well as landscaping. Once complete, this tourism trail will provide safe, off road passage offering picturesque and uninterrupted views across Lake Mulwala for the thousands of tourists who visit the region each year. Local Yarrawonga $2,700,000 $5,412, Ryan Meat Company (No 2) Pty as trustee for Ryan Meat Trust Export Value Add involve the construction of a new value add process line, including a building fit-out and equipment installation. The project will allow the company to produce a new, niche product and add new employees. This will allow the company to access new international markets. Nathalia $445,500 $891,00

Echuca $263,650 $778,65 A & T Goldman Pty Eco-Friendly Machinery Maintenance and Manufacturing Facility Andrew Goldman Excavations is investing in a state of the art, purpose designed facility for the manufacturing, maintenance, repair, overhaul and environmental wash down of infrastructure machinery. Located in the Cobram region, ideally placed to support major infrastructure projects and agricultural producers across both NSW and Victoria, this facility will provide world first, leading edge environmental management technologies engineered to avoid cross contamination between agricultural and construction sites. The project will upgrade its technology through acquisition of a new Fibre optic Laser, CNC machine and Robotic Welder including fit-out. These machines will give Burder the capability to manufacture its own hydraulic cylinders and laser cut components. This will open up new markets with the additional capacity created. Lenne Pty New Apple and Pear Packing Facility This project consists of the construction of new warehouse and office buildings along with the installation of new apple and pear grader and packing equipment. The intended outcome of the new facility is to increase production capacity by 100% of the current production levels. This will allow the business to produce an estimated 60,000 tons of packed fruit per year to meet existing and new demands by both domestic and export markets. It will also support the local community by creating more local jobs and providing more opportunities to local growers, which will now have greater ability to access these markets. This project builds on the success of the Shepparton Motor Museum and Collectibles which has been founded and built by the community in partnership with the private sector.
