Here you will join your Carefree Journeys Tour Manager and the balance of your group prior to our flight to JFK Airport in New York. Upon arrival we transfer to our JFK Airport area hotel and spend a relaxing evening prior to your flight tomorrow to South Africa. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2017 FLIGHTS TO JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA Enjoy breakfast at your hotel this morning, before we transfer to New York s JFK Airport. Here we check in for our international South African Airways flight to Cape Town, via Johannesburg. From the moment you board your South African Airways flight you feel the warm and welcoming African hospitality in every detail of the world class service you are about to experience. Flying time from New York to Johannesburg is approximately 15 hours, non-stop. Meals are served and snacks and drinks are available throughout the flight, all on a complimentary basis. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2017 FLIGHT TO CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA On arrival at Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport's Central Terminal Building, collect your luggage and then clear Customs & Immigration. Re-check your bags for your domestic flight to Cape Town. Accommodation: Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2017 CAPE WINELANDS TOUR After breakfast this morning, we embark on a 3/4 day Winelands tour. First you will transfer to the beautiful Franschhoek Valley in South Africa s Cape Winelands. The first stop will be at La Bourgogne Farm for an olive oil tasting and wine tasting. This is a working farm producing quality wines, export quality fruit and some extremely good olive oils from their olive trees. The farm has approximately 2500 olive trees and the majority of the trees planted are Frantoio, along with some Corantino, Lecchino and Mission. There will be a stop in Franschhoek for lunch and some shopping. The quaint village of Franschhoek is known locally as well as internationally as the gourmet capital of South Africa. Here visitors are spoiled with a wide range of award-winning restaurants and wine producers amid spectacular settings of mountains, fynbos (local unique vegetation) and of course vineyards. Franschhoek offers a variety of boutiques, specialty and high quality retail shopping including handmade chocolates, crafts and curios of all kinds, art galleries, health and beauty and a market. Thereafter you will visit Haute Cabriere Wine Estate for a wine tasting. Situated on opposite ends of the breathtaking Franschhoek Wine Valley, Haute Cabrière is something extraordinary. A rich history, a whimsical setting, a seductive approach to wine and a magnetic proprietor ensure that it is a decadent affair for any visitor. (B, L) SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2017 CAPE PENINSULA TOUR After breakfast you will be taken on a full day Cape Peninsula Tour including Table Mountain. On this tour you will see why the area earned the name of The Fairest Cape. Sit back and relax, as we drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire s Paradise from Clifton to Camps Bay, to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno towards the charming working harbour of Hout Bay; if you choose, you can embark on an up-close and personal Seal Island cruise. The tour then winds its way along the legendary Chapman s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and relishing the breathtaking ocean views. After a stop for lunch visit the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park, an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom. You will ride the Flying Dutchman funicular

4 to the old lighthouse for awe-inspiring views! On the way back along the coast towards the City, visit the historic naval port of Simon s Town and the endearing African penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Later take a cable car ride to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain weather permitting for panoramic views, including the City and surrounding layout of this southernmost tip of Africa, returning to your hotel in the late afternoon. (B, L) SUNDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2017 DAY AT LEISURE IN CAPE TOWN After breakfast you will have the day at leisure to further explore Cape Town or just relax by the pool at the Table Bay Hotel. Later this evening you will be transferred for dinner. Dinner tonight will be at Gold Restaurant with return transfers. From the moment you arrive, you will feel the heartbeat of a unique African restaurant in Cape Town. GOLD Restaurant will take you on a taste safari from Cape Malay to African cuisine from Cape Town to Timbuktu with its set multi-course menu served at your table. Start your evening with an interactive Djembe drumming session which will get you in tune with the African rhythms and songs for the rest of the night. 5 country. The reserve enjoys panoramic views of the nearby Drakensberg Mountain range and the area supports a wide variety of game. Predators include lion, leopard, cheetah and spotted hyena. (B, L, D) THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2017 FLIGHT TO JOHANNESBURG After an early morning game drive to track the animals that may have eluded you so far, followed by breakfast, you will be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, lunch will be provided as we embark on an afternoon Soweto Tour. Many South Africans gave much; some gave all, to achieve a truly democratic South Africa. Come with us on this half day tour which shares some of the journey, pain and struggle of those heroes; witness the places, experience the diverse museums where these momentous, tumultuous years have been so well documented. Your tour begins at the Hector Pieterson Museum, where we start to unravel the cause of the devastating riots, before travelling past Mandela House, where you have the option of visiting this small museum (tickets provided). Following your tour you will then be transferred to your hotel. Michelangelo Hotel on Nelson Mandela Square: The renowned Michelangelo Hotel is a 5-star hotel located on Sandton's Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg, with easy access to Africa s finest shops, restaurants, cinemas and theatres. (B, L) Accommodation: Michelangelo Hotel, Johannesburg FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2017 FLIGHT TO VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE After breakfast you will be transferred from your hotel to Johannesburg Airport for your regional flight to Victoria Falls where you will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. The Victoria Falls Hotel, popularly known as the grand old lady of the Falls has over the years played host to stars, statesman and presidents. Built in 1904 when the planned Cape to Cairo railway reached the Victoria Falls, the ambience of the hotel is steeped in history with all suites decorated in the gracious Edwardian style of Zimbabwe s colonial era. The Terrace is famous for its high teas and has been a rendezvous for adventurers for over a century. The hotel has an atmosphere steeped in history, combining the charm of the old with the comfort and convenience of today. With its old world charm, guests are assured of a memorable stay in what is undoubtedly one of the few remaining hotels of its kind in the world. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the center of Victoria Falls Town and a ten-minute walk along the hotel s private path from the actual Falls.

6 Complete the day with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The area of the Zambezi that the cruise is on is one of outstanding natural, scenic beauty with a wide diversity of game and bird life. One has a unique vantage point to spot large animals such as elephants, hippo and crocodiles, as this area lies within the Zambezi National Park. Later we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B, D) Accommodation: Victoria Falls Hotel, Zimbabwe SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2017 GUIDED TOUR OF VICTORIA FALLS After breakfast you will be taken on a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. (On the Zimbabwe side only). This walking safari takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the Cataracts, Livingstone's statue and a wide variety of birds and plants. David Livingstone, a Scottish explorer, visited the falls in 1855 and renamed them after Queen Victoria, though they were known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya the Smoke that Thunders. Livingstone was so touched by what he saw that he wrote: Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight. Tonight s dinner is at the hotel. (B, D) SUNDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2017 FLIGHTS TO JOHANNESBURG AND NEW YORK After breakfast you will be transferred from the Victoria Falls Hotel to Victoria Falls Airport for your regional flight back to Johannesburg, South Africa. (B) On arrival at Johannesburg s Oliver Tambo International Airport connect with your scheduled international South African Airways flight back to USA. The flying time from Johannesburg to New York is approximately 16 hours, non-stop. MONDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2017 ARRIVE IN NEW YORK & FLIGHT TO TORONTO After crossing several time zones throughout the night, this morning you will arrive in New York and connect to your flight back to Toronto where you will clear Canadian Immigration and Customs. After obtaining your luggage, you will meet your shuttle driver for your return transfer to your home city. Visas: Canadian passport holders require a visa for Zimbabwe which is obtainable on arrival at the point of entry. A SINGLE ENTRY VISA charge of US$75 per person is payable in exact cash upon entering Zimbabwe. If you have purchased a single entry visa upon arrival and then leave Zimbabwe, even for a few hours, you will need to buy another visa to re-enter. Passports: Ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport with at least FOUR BLANK PAGES marked VISA (two for each country) and that your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your intended return date from Southern Africa. If you are visiting other countries, please establish entry requirements and have additional blank visa pages for those countries as well. Malaria: We strongly advise you to take precautions against malaria prior to the commencement of your holiday. Please contact your physician or travel clinic for advice as to which malarial medication is recommended. Luggage: Most scheduled regional & domestic flights within Southern Africa carry a luggage restriction of 44lbs/20kgs inclusive of one piece of checked luggage and one piece of carry-on luggage. Zimbabwe Currency: All monetary transactions in Zimbabwe are now in US Dollars. You are advised to carry USD CASH when travelling through Zimbabwe. Hotels will only accept US$ notes printed after Zimbabwe/Camouflage Clothing: It is illegal for civilians to wear or carry any form of clothing made from camouflage/militaryinspired material whilst in Zimbabwe. Valuables: Some areas you visit will be quite poor by our standards and it is thoughtless to flash money or jewellery. We urge you to leave valuables, passports etc. in hotel safes or with camp managers at lodges that do not provide safes. Import regulations: Please note that the import of meat or any products thereof (dried, canned etc.), plants, seeds, vegetables, fruits, livestock, endangered wildlife species and products thereof (for example clothing and accessories) into the United States and Canada is prohibited. This includes Ostrich eggs and animal skins for sale in Africa.

9 TERMS AND CONDITIONS Please take the time to read and fully understand these conditions. Your payment of deposit indicates your acceptance of these terms. Reservations A non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking and the amount required is shown on each tour itinerary. Please make cheque payable to CWT Blowes Travel and Cruise Centres Inc. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Interac. Verbal authorization of the use of your credit card commits you to your reservation whether or not you have signed a credit card draft. Final Payment The date which final payment is due in our office is noted on each itinerary. Cancellation Charges All payments are non-refundable 90 days prior to departure. We strongly recommend the purchase of Tour Package Insurance. We will be happy to quote and explain coverage. We cannot be held responsible for loss of money due to cancellation. It some cases, other cancellation charges may apply, and these will be noted on each individual itinerary. Insurance Cancellation and Medical Insurance is highly recommended and quotes will be provided to you on booking your tour. If you decline to purchase any of the insurance plans that we have offered and explained to you, we will respectfully request that you sign a form confirming to us that you have declined our insurance coverage. Ask one of our travel professionals for full details about the insurance options available. Tour Pricing All prices listed are per person in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise noted. As we need to price our tour packages using many different currencies, we reserve the right to adjust rate due to significant currency fluctuations. Prices are based on exchange rates at time of securing our space with suppliers. We reserve the right to pass along any changes to airport taxes, fuel surcharges and airline imposed taxes, and Government tax structure to the consumer. All tours may be subject to surcharge until such time as your tour is paid in full. Not Included in the Tour Cost All tour costs do not include items of a personal nature such as and not limited to alcoholic beverages, phone calls, airline baggage fees where applicable, and meals that are not included or listed in the itinerary, etc. Legal Names/Copy of Passport Carefree Journeys/CWT Blowes Travel & Cruise Centres Inc. will require a copy of your passport prior to final payment if not available at time of deposit should your passport be in the process of renewal. For all bookings, we will require your legal name as it appears or will appear on your passport. Failure to provide proper documentation at time of booking or time of final payment may result in charges assessed by our suppliers and are your responsibility. In some cases we may be able to make name changes for a fee. This is determined by the fees charged by our suppliers and will include a processing fee by CWT Blowes Travel & Cruise Centres Inc. Proof of Citizenship/Passports/Visa Requirements When traveling outside of Canada, all passengers will require a valid passport. Most countries today require that your passport be valid for up to 6 months of your departure date from a country. Some countries may also have visa requirements for Canadian and non-canadian citizens. Any extra fees for visas and any other additional travel documentation that may be required are your responsibility. Entry into another country is never guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of the local authorities. CWT Blowes Travel & Cruise Centres Inc. can take no responsibility for a customer being denied entry into another country. Cancellation charges and any additional fees will be at your own expense. Luggage One large piece of luggage per person with total linear dimensions not exceeding 62 inches calculated by adding together its greatest outside height, weight and length wheels and handles included will be tagged with our special Carefree Journeys/Blowes Travel & Cruises luggage tag for porter service (where available) at each of our hotels. Please note that you will be responsible for carrying your own luggage at airports, cruise terminals, rail stations, etc. Each large suitcase should not exceed 50 lbs (23 kg). Although the Coach Driver and/or Tour Manager supervise the transfer of luggage to and from the motor coach and every effort is made to handle all luggage as carefully as possible, CWT Blowes Travel & Cruise Centres Inc. cannot assume liability for loss, theft or damage due to breakage, fire, water, etc. On all vacations, one carry-on bag is permitted which you must handle personally and carry with you at all times. If your vacation involves a flight, you will be subject to the luggage size and weight restrictions imposed by the air carrier, and these can vary widely from carrier to carrier. Full details will be provided with your final ticket package. Accommodations and Special Requests Room assignments are always done by the hotel in an impartial fashion. If you have special requests such as a room near the elevator, low floor room, a room near friends traveling with you, etc., please advise us at time of booking. Group seating on airlines is assigned by the individual carrier. In some cases it may be possible to book individual seating with the airline at additional cost to the

10 client. All requests will be forwarded to our suppliers, but these requests are not guaranteed. The hotel, cruise ship and airline names we have listed in our itineraries are published in good faith. Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary. In such a case, we will provide a substitute of a similar or better standard than those named. Tour Guarantee Some tours require a minimum amount of participants to operate. We will do everything possible to ensure tours operate as scheduled, however we reserve the right to cancel should we not reach our required number of participants. If a tour is cancelled each passenger booked will receive a full refund, in the manner in which the customer made the payment. Physically Challenged Passengers Physically challenged passengers are more than welcome to travel with us, however they MUST have a capable traveling companion to assist you at all times and we must be notified of any disabilities when reservations are made. It is the responsibility of users of walkers and wheelchairs to have someone with them to load and unload these from the motor coach as neither fellow guests, our employees or those of our suppliers will be available for such purposes. Some tours may present difficulties for the physically challenged and these tours indicate this on their description. Gratuities Gratuities have been included in all of our tours for included meals, local guides and drivers unless otherwise noted on itinerary. Notice to Travelers When you travel outside the province of Ontario, please be advised that there may be different living standards with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodations outside of Ontario. Photos Posted to Our Website On occasion your Carefree Journeys tour manager will be taking photos of group members participating in various activities. These photos may be posted on our company website or blog. If, for any reason, you do not wish to have your photo taken and published, please advise your tour manager on Day 1 of your journey. Privacy Policy To process your reservation, we will need personal information including your name, address, telephone number, address, passport number, date of birth, citizenship, and information you have disclosed regarding health, medical, dietary, mobility and other special requirements. This personal information may be passed on to other suppliers of your travel arrangements in addition to public authorities (such as customs and immigration), and security organizations as required by law. In making your booking, you consent to your personal data being passed to relevant third parties as set out above. Disclosure Notice In offering travel arrangements for sale, Carlson Wagonlit Blowes Travel & Cruise Centres Inc. acts only as an agent. CWT Blowes Travel & Cruise Centres Inc. maintains no control over the personnel, equipment or operations of any supplier and assumes no responsibility for, and shall not be expected, asked or required to pay for any financial loss, personal injury, property damage, other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity which you may experience either by reason of (1) non-performance by any supplier for whatever reason (2) wrongful causes, negligent or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any supplier or its employees or on the part of any other party not under the control of CWT Blowes Travel & Cruise Centres Inc. or (3) any defect, breakdown or other failure of any aircraft, train, bus, automobile, accommodation, ship or other equipment or instrumentality operated and owned or otherwise used by a supplier. Other terms and conditions of your travel arrangements may be outlined in the supplier brochure and your travel documents and you should read them carefully. We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage due to unexpected weather conditions, civil unrest and other unforeseen circumstances. (Travel insurance may cover some of this). Availability of refunds for unused travel reservations will vary as your payment becomes property of the supplier upon remittance to CWT Blowes Travel & Cruise Centres Inc. In the event of any bankruptcy you should seek refunds directly from your credit card company, the supplier or Ontario Travel Compensation Fund. Travel Insurance will usually cover this. CWT Blowes Travel & Cruise Centres Inc. reserves the right to decline any person as a member of the tour at any time before or during the tour should such person s presence be considered detrimental to the interest, comfort and enjoyment of the other tour members. Persons leaving the tour during operation will not receive a refund of unused services, and all costs of returning to the point of embarkation will be borne by the client.
