Today, embark on your exciting tour of South Africa. On arrival at Cape Town you will be greeted by your friendly Thomas Cook tour manager / local representative outside the baggage hall and transferred to your conveniently located hotel (Standard Check-in time is 1400hrs). First, you will proceed for a thrilling helicopter ride, after which you will enjoy a scenic view at the top of Table Mountain via a 360 Degree Cable Car (weather permitting) for a panoramic view of the city and coastline. After American breakfast at the hotel, proceed on an exciting full-day tour to the Cape of Good Hope. We drive via the Ou Kaapse Weg and the Atlantic Coast to Cape Point. Marvel at the view from the southwestern tip of Africa. Enjoy Funicular Ride at the Cape Point. Today enjoy a sumptuous lunch. Enjoy a cruise to Hout Bay to the Seal Colony (weather permitting). We drive along the False Bay Coast visiting the African penguins at Boulders Beach. Drive past Simon s Town. This scenic town is also an important Naval base. Visit the Bartolomeu Dias Museum and Post Office Tree - National Heritage site. Enjoy Sunset Cruise. After an American breakfast checkout and start your journey to Knysna via Mosselbay. Mossel Bay is a harbour town where you visit the Bartolomeu Dias Museum complex which is the largest of the museums in Mossel Bay. Later visit Post Office Tree - A post box in the shape of an old boot has now been erected under the tree, and the tree declared a national heritage site. After enjoying a hot lunch continue your scenic journey to Knysna,. Depart for your scenic Sunset Cruise. Tonight enjoy Indian dinner at local restaurant. Proceed to your conveniently located hotel and check in Overnight at Oubaai Hotel (5*) or similar at George. DAY 05 Today visit Oudtshoorn The Feather Capital of the World. Visit the Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm, Cheetah Ranch and Crocodile Enclosure. After an American breakfast in your hotel, you will head to Oudtshoorn, which is set in a semi-arid valley. Drive through the Wine lands along the Breede River, Valley to Oudtshoorn The Feather Capital of the World. Visit the famous Cango Caves, where the stalactite and stalagmite formations are an incredible sight. Later, proceed to the Ostrich Farm where you can enjoy a guided Tour of the farm. Enjoy Lunch. Thereafter, drive to The Cango Wildlife Ranch, where you can marvel at the grace and beauty of the world s fastest animal. Visit Crocodile Enclosure. Then you drive back to George. DAY 06 Today move onto the man-made wonder; Sun City Africa s Kingdom of Pleasure After a packed breakfast, proceed to the airport to take your flight to Johannesburg. Proceed to the fantastic man-made wonder of the world - Sun City. It is a city that knows no limits, a city that never sleeps! Enjoy Gold Reef Tour, and a city orientation Tour. After an American Breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Johannesburg. Today we go for a Tour of the Gold Reef City. Here you have a wonderful opportunity to descend into a vast gold mine, named after the richness upon which the city of Johannesburg was built. Watch gold pouring, see the miners carry out their traditional tribal and gum boot dancing, learn a bit of their specially devised mine language still used today to cover the many and diverse tribes who worked here. Stroll through the theme park reflecting the life of the mining town. Enjoy Lunch at a local restaurant. Functioning of Air cooling/air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local authority. Security alerts and random closures might affect the itinerary. All the internal flights will allow one piece of check in bag per person up to 20kg and carryon luggage will be 7kgs only.
