2 Introduction: This document contains the proposed IVAO XM special operation tour legs. The total number of legs is eleven leg each leg described briefly. The document is set for discussion period to come over the requirements and if there are any additional information needed to be add. All pilots who will fly the tour should install the following addon sceneries: - Jordan sceneries. FSX/P3D - Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. 7 Leg1: A basic military training flight based on VFR rules mainly to test the skills of a beginner military student pilot in air navigation. The flight start from King Hussein Air Base positioned in north of Jordan at Mafraq city to Prince Hassan Air Base North East Jordan. 50 N.M / 62 N.M actual route distance. 30 mins. Figure 1: Leg 1 route map. 1- Avoid (OJD-4) area and Jordan/Syrian airspace borders. 2- The flight must be flown under military VFR rules specially weather conditions. 3- Contact with ATC when it is available. 4- You should complete this Leg throw the described route. Preferred (Grob G 120TP, Pilatus PC-9, and T67M260 Firefly), or any high speed light aircraft.
8 Leg2: The Airforce chose you to perform a low altitude patrol over North East and East borders to monitor if there are any abnormal activities. You will take your fighter aircraft and takeoff from Prince Hassan Air Base and after finishing the patrol you will land in the same Air Base. 290 N.M / 325 N.M actual route distance. 40 mins. Figure 2: Leg 2 route map. 1- Avoid Jordan/Syrian Jordan/Iraqi, and Jordan/Saudi airspace borders. 2- The flight must be flown under military IFR rules. 3- Contact with ATC when it is available. 4- You should complete this Leg throw the described route. 5- Flight altitude: 2000 Ft. AGL maximum. Preferred (F-16, F-5, and CASA C-101), or any fighter aircraft. Hint: Flight route available for default FS GPS or any traffic use the FS navigation system.
9 Leg3: It is the time for you to move to the new location and start a new level of training. The military training department chose you and other trainee pilots to fly from Prince Hassan Air Base to Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in order to start new training sessions. 35 N.M / 47 N.M actual route distance. Depends on aircraft type. Figure 3: Leg 3 route map. 1- Avoid OJD-5 area and Jordan/Saudi airspace borders. 2- The flight must be flown under military IFR rules. 3- Contact with ATC when it is available. 4- You should complete this Leg throw the described route. 5- Flight altitude: 6000 to Ft. Preferred (Grob G 120TP, Pilatus PC-9, T67M260 Firefly, F-16, F-5, and CASA C-101), or any fighter aircraft and high speed light aircraft. Hint: Flight route available for default FS GPS or any traffic use the FS navigation system.
10 Leg4: Things get serious now!, as a fighter pilot you need to be able to do the basic air maneuvers. These maneuvers can help the pilot in dog fighting against the enemy fighter jets. You will start your training flight from Muwaffaq Salti Air Base and fly towards South of Jordan to (OJD-6) military training area. In the area you will start your training on the air maneuvers. After that you will back again and land on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. 225 N.M / 240 N.M actual route distance. 1 hour and 45 minutes as a jet fighter. 3 hours and 30 minutes as a light training aircraft. Figure 4: Leg 4 route map. 1- All maneuvers should be inside the training area boundaries. 2- You need to do four types of maneuvers two times each see the link for more information Basic fighter maneuvers. 3- Stick with the altitude limits. 4- The flight must be flown under military IFR rules. 5- Contact with ATC when it is available. 6- You should complete this Leg throw the described route. 7- Flight altitude described in the route picture. Preferred (Grob G 120TP, Pilatus PC-9, T67M260 Firefly, F-16, F-5, and CASA C-101), or any fighter aircraft and high speed light aircraft. Hint: Flight route available for default FS GPS or any traffic use the FS navigation system. The training area bounders are available in the route.
11 Leg5: After an important meeting for the military flight operation officers at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. You will be the pilot of the flight in order to deliver the officers to King Abdullah II Air Base to continue their duty N.M / 38 N.M actual route distance. 15 minutes. Figure 5: Leg 5 route map. 1- Use only military helicopters for this flight any other type is prohibited. 2- Stick with the altitude limits. 3- The flight must be flown under military VFR rules. 4- Contact with ATC when it is available. 5- You should complete this Leg throw the described route. 6- Flight altitude should not exceed 5000 Ft. Preferred (Super Puma, UH-60 Blackhawk, and Bell UH-1 Iroquois), or any military helicopters.
12 Leg6: Jordan TV requested from the air force to help them to take some video shots for Amman and Zarqa city from air. You will takeoff from King Abdullah II Air Base with the TV crew and make two turns around the cities, then you will land on Amman Civil Airport. 30 N.M / 38 N.M actual route distance. 30 minutes. Figure 6: Leg 6 route map. 1- Use only military helicopters for this flight any other type is prohibited. 2- Stick with the altitude limits. 3- The flight must be flown under military VFR rules. 4- Contact with ATC when it is available. 5- You should complete this Leg throw the described route. 6- Flight altitude 3500 to 4000 Ft. Preferred (Super Puma, UH-60 Blackhawk, and Bell UH-1 Iroquois), or any military helicopters.
13 Leg7: You ve been chosen to be a helicopter commander to do a patrol mission over the Dead Sea Coast. You will take off from the Marka airport throughout the described route in the figure and then head back again to Maraka Airport. You need to do three patrol legs over the Coasts. 30 N.M / 38 N.M actual route distance. 30 minutes. 14 Leg8: It s an important event today for Royal Jordanian Air Force, which is the King Hussein air force college graduation ceremony. As a leader of Royal Jordanian Falcons you will takeoff from King Hussein International Airport and heading to north of Jordan to King Hussein Air Base to join the celebration air show. After that you will turn back to your base again. 310 N.M / 363 N.M actual route distance. 3 hours and 30 minutes. 15 Leg9: Your mission is to carry medical equipment s from Amman Civil Airport to El Arish International Airport to construct a field hospital to help curing the people of Gaza. The flight will be under United Nation operation with help of Royal Jordanian Air force. 298 N.M actual route distance. 1 hour and 30 munities. 1- Stick with the altitude limits. 2- The flight must be flown under IFR rules. 3- Contact with ATC when it is available. 4- You should complete this Leg throw the described route. 17 Leg11: You have a fully loaded cargo plane with food supplies for poor people. You will deliver these supplies from Amman Civil Airport to Juba International Airport. The flight will be under United Nation Humanitarian Operation 1695 N.M actual route distance. 4 hours and 30 minutes. 1- The flight must be flown under IFR rules. 2- Contact with ATC when it is available. 3- You should complete this Leg throw the described route.
