Contains all booking records made via the major global distribution systems (GDS). These include Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, Worldspan, and internet booking sites where the booking engine is actually supported by one of these GDS providers (such as Travelocity). Contains Origin & Destination data of the passengers travelling to and from as well as within South Africa (two-way pax). Point of Sale Country - where the ticket was booked. Germany and the Netherlands (2nd & 3rd largest markets) Switzerland has shown solid growth France growing European market Stimulated by direct flight. Africa Namibia, CTIA s largest African market. Angola (2nd) has shown consistent growth Bigger aircraft, put on a 777 once a week. Potential markets for the Future; Kenya Shown consistent growth since 2010 Addis Abiba Ethiopia flying directly into Cape Town Zimbabwe = Consistent growth (Stringent Transit Visa requirements of SADC neighbours)

13 North America US largest in terms of market size; Grew from 124,000 (2010) to 171,000 (2014) = 38% (47,000 pax higher). Seasonality anomaly (Peak versus Off-peak) Top 5 US cities 1. New York 2. Washington 3. LA 4. San Francisco 5. Chicago Miami, albeit only 8th largest source market does have favourable geographical potential as a hub for traffic between Cape Town and the US. Asia India is CTIA s biggest Asian market. Seasonality anomaly (May / Jun).

21 New Immigration Regulations Delayed implementation following engagement with Ministry of Home Affairs (DHA) Implemented fully since 01 June 2015 Impact on airport processes minimal thus far, although industry-wide concerns remain 2 passengers 1 foreign, 1 South African denied entry / exit with minors thus far Various travellers assisted to comply with the New Regulations

The success of this trial period will determine the roll out to all airports. Project in the scoping phase to install a trial period in Cape Town Challenge exists with no E-Passport or E- Identification documents. Procedure for airline check of ID and Self Boarding proposed
