1 FAQs - When does Contemporary Istanbul 2018 take place? o Contemporary Istanbul 2018 General Admission days are between September o Invitation-only At First Sight and Preview will take place on Wednesday September 19, 2018 followed by the Vernissage o VIP events will begin on Tuesday, September 18 and will continue until September 23, Where will Contemporary Istanbul be held? o Contemporary Istanbul will take place at the Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Centre (ICEC) and the Istanbul Congress Center (ICC). Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Center Istanbul Congress Centre - How can I get there? - The Fairground is located in Harbiye in Şişli district. - Public transport is very convenient for the fair and we recommend you use it where possible. o TAXI Transportation by taxi from the airports to ICC and ICEC - Atatürk Airport (European Side) 45 minutes - Sabiha Gökçen Airport (Anatolian Side) 55 minutes

2 o METRO - Contemporary Istanbul is located between the Taksim and Osmanbey metro stations. You may take the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line and get off at Osmanbey or Taksim stations to easily access fairgrounds. If you choose to go by foot, it will be a minute walk from either metro station If you decide to take a taxi, it will be a 5-10 minute ride, but please make sure that the driver turns on the taxi meter - Alternatively, you can use the F1 Taksim - Kabataş funicular line and get off at Taksim station to reach to Istanbul Congress Center. o BUS - There are direct transportation options to Harbiye from various central districts including Taksim, Eminönü and Mecidiyeköy. ICC and ICEC are only 3 minutes walking distance from the bus stop in front of TRT Istanbul Radio. o CAR PARKING - Please note there are a limited number of park spaces around the fair. - At the fairground the only parking lot is available in ICC. - There are also parking areas specially designed for the vehicles of mobility-restricted guests.

3 - Please also refer to map - How do I check if I have RSVP d to an event? o Once you log in to the Online VIP Platform with your personal password, you may see the VIP events you have RSVP d to under the My Bookings which will be marked as Booked. o You will also receive a confirmation mail right after you have RSVP d to the event.

4 - I have changed my postal address and would like future invitations to be delivered to my new address. What do I need to do? o Please vip@ci.com.tr with a short message and your updated postal address so that we make the necessary changes. - I have not received my physical VIP Card, what should I do if I don t receive it before the fair? o As our VIP Guest, you will be able to collect your VIP Kit in advance from our pop-up desk at The Sofa Hotel (between September 17 - September 18, 10am-6pm and 19 September 10am-1pm), or at the fair s VIP desk during the fair. - Can I bring a guest to the fair and/or to the VIP Programme events with my VIP Card? o Your VIP Card is valid for you and one other guest whom may accompany you at the fair and VIP events. - What benefits does the VIP Card provide? o Your VIP Card offers you and your guest unlimited access to the fair during the Preview, the Vernissage and the fair dates and free admission to all museums, art institutions and selected events listed in the VIP Programme. - If available, where can I access transfer information for By Invitation Only events? o You will be ed personally with transfer information regarding time and pick up location for invitation only events.

5 o Please know that for Invitation Only events, guest lists are drawn up and finalized by our gracious hosts. Rules and Safety for Visitors Strict security measures have been taken by the Istanbul Security Directorate in order to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all art lovers. To ensure your safety and comfort at Contemporary Istanbul, please be aware of the following and prepare accordingly: Due to changes in security procedure large bags will not be permitted into the event. Please do not bring suitcases, folding bicycles, scooters or any large items bigger than a handbag or laptop bag. Restrictions for 2018 o All bags, briefcases and similar items larger than 30 x 30 centimetres need to be deposited at the cloakroom inside the fair. Backpacks of any size are not permitted. o All bags will be subject to inspection. o Coats and umbrellas can be checked free of charge at the cloakroom. o Scooters are not permitted in the exhibition halls and can be checked free of charge at the cloakroom. o Strollers are permitted however they may not be left in the exhibitions spaces unattended. o Photography is allowed for personal use only. No medium-format cameras with long lenses, flashes, extendable camera devices (ie. Monopods, tripods, etc.) or video recording are permitted. When photographing in booths, please kindly ask the gallerist for permission. o Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the exhibition halls, with the exception to certified service animals for visitors with disabilities. o Please note that press and promotional photography and filming are taking place on the premises. Attendance at Contemporary Istanbul implies permission for your image to be used for non-commercial purposes.
