Small hand bags, backpacks, shoulder bags and fanny packs with a maximum size of approximately one A4 sheet and a thickness of not more than 10 centimeters are excluded and may be taken into the festival. ALCOHOL + TOBACCO We may ask you to prove your age. If you re under 18, you re not allowed to buy and/or drink alcohol or buy tobacco at Lowlands. In addition to that, festivalgoers aged 18 or over are not allowed to pass on alcohol to minors. If you violate this rule, you ll get an official warning. In case of a second violation, you will be removed from the festival. We may ask you to prove your age, so please always bring a proof of age document (not a photocopy, must be valid). Minors will receive a different wristband upon entrance, with which no alcohol or tobacco can be purchased. Smoking at Lowlands is only permitted in the open air. In buildings, tents and/or under coverings it s not allowed to smoke. Minors at Lowlands can t buy tobacco at the festival. Refill packages for electronic cigarettes Sealed, dense refill packages for e-cigarettes are only allowed on the camp sites with a maximum of 50 ml of liquid refills (plastic only). WASTE We like to keep the festival clean. That s why you ll receive a trash bag upon entrance: please use it to keep your camp site and its surroundings clean and waste free. You can drop off your full trash bags at the waste collection points at each camp site. Please also help us recycle your waste at the festival site by disposing your trash and drink cups in the designated bins. The drink cups we use are made from PLA and are fully recyclable. SECURITY The entire site is supervised by CCTV cameras, security and police but please: leave as many valuables as possible at home and certainly do not store them in your car or tent! You can rent a locker at the camp site to safely store your belongings.
2 (ACCESS) CONTROL You will be searched at the entrance to the event which may include a full body pat down. If prohibited items are found at the entrance inspection, you are responsible for storing these items outside the festival or throw them away: it s not possible to store these items during the festival. In the case of prohibited items according to the law, they will be confiscated. Seized or discarded items will not be returned to the visitor. When accessing the grounds, we will check luggage, cars, trailers and RV s for prohibited items such as drugs. Also, the security checks the visitors by means of superficial touch of clothes and searching bags. In the event of refusal of the above security checks, the visitor will not be granted access to the festival site. CROWD SURFING Is not allowed. DRUGS It is legally forbidden to carry or trade any illegal drugs. A 5 gram softdrug tolerance policy is applied per person. Prefabricated joints are not allowed. PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDINGS It s not allowed to film or take professional photographs into the festival. Making sound recordings is also prohibited.
