2 suncadia 2016 Holiday Ornament We d like to share a piece of Suncadia with you. We have commissioned a Pacific Northwest artist specializing in watercolor, and inspired by science, natural forms, and geometry, to create beautiful, hand-painted Holiday ornaments available for sale in The canvas of her artwork is re-purposed wood that has been forged from fallen trees throughout the property, made possible with the assistance of the Suncadia Forrester and a team of wood workers. Over 3,500 acres of Suncadia s land is conserved. Suncadia has a Land Stewardship Plan in place to ensure both plant life and wildlife remain undisturbed and even thriving, with an overall goal to provide a surrounding and intertwining forest that is visually attractive, healthy and capable of supporting diverse native wildlife populations for generations. We hope that each Holiday Season is a reminder of wonderful memories made at Suncadia! Available to purchase at Coal House Caffé Prices range from $20-35 ABOUT THE ARTIST - SOPHIA TRINH Sophia Trinh is an American Vietnamese watercolor artist from Seattle, WA. Sophia started painting at the age of four, and it was through those early experiences of painting that Sophia developed a love for watercolors. While attending The Oxbow School in Napa, CA, Sophia was inspired to use art as tool to engage others and communicate ideas. Sophia s work is inspired by the arts and sciences, with an added touch of creativity and imagination.

Trails groomed regularly and maps are available for your convenience. Limited number of kid s skis available. WALK & WADE GUIDED WINTER FLY FISHING The fishing in the winter on the Yakima River can be outstanding, enjoy the local trout streams on foot with one of our expert guides. This 2-3 hour excursion departs from The Lodge at Suncadia and includes all gear, supplies, waders, boots, warm beverages and snacks. If conditions are right, snowshoeing to a remote part of the river can be an added bonus! A fishing license is necessary and can be provided. PRICE: $95 per hour, 2 hours minimum. Up to 3 participants per guide. GUIDED WINTER FLY FISHING DRIFT TRIPS The best way to experience great winter fly fishing on the Yakima River is floating in a drift boat. Winter fly fishing can be outstanding with low river flows and crystal clear water, and the trout are typically interested in many of the small aquatic insects that are active throughout the winter months. Trips last about 4-6 hours and include transportation, equipment, supplies, waders, boots, and a light lunch and warm beverages. A fishing license is necessary and can be provided. No experience is necessary, beginners are welcome! Trips are available daily. PRICE: $375+tax for one or two participants. SNOWSHOE & BREW TOUR Dec , at 12:30pm Bundle up and head out with an Outdoor Pursuits Guide on an energetic and fun-filled, 8-mile snowshoe trek.
